Petition to update Protect/Foresight tooltips for PvP

Can we please have finally a tooltip update for those defensive boosting abilities that have no effect in PvP? Protect and Foresight habe no effect during PvP, Morale used to work only in Wolves' Den for managing defense and attack, but now has been changed to rise the ilevel of a piece of gear (seriously?), and it's very unclear what applies in PvP or what doesn't. Not everybody that plays uses the forums to stay informed. And having to keep track of what works at this moment by reading through all patch notes is really not necessary if the tooltip was updated with every change they make, just like with arcanist's res, blm's swiftcast etc.

Given the defense abilities were probably always ineffective in PvP and therefore never needed a "change" in their tooltip, but imo it should have be included from the beginning. Cause if one were to apply common sense, one would think Protect would be beneficial inside PvP, especially since Morale is now something else, if nothing says otherwise.

Agreed, even if honestly there is no need NOT to cast every buff you have regardless of their effectiveness, since they're still additional buffs that enemy PLD and MNK will try to remove from you.

Protect has a purpose in PvP Buff protection. Would you rather loose Protect or Aetherflow/Raging Strikes/Berserk/Fight or Flight/Stoneskin/etc. when hit by Glory Slash or One Ilm Punch?

You are right in that Foresight is mostly purposeless and does a far worse job that Protect at protecting buffs.

I'm not saying Protect has no prupose, cause of course we rather have something that is ineffective removed than Aether stacks. I'm saying the skills need to be updated in their respective description, as in: "Protect= enhances physical defense; does not apply in PvP" for example.

I say let it stay out of the description for selfish reasons. The longer healers think its 'useful', the longer I get to keep my good buffs from being removed. Tell the average healer that it doesn't give defense and you'll never see protect ever again, even if it adds a layer to buff removal. The majority of people are that dumb.
