    Green, Red, Blue Horizontal Lines while playing

    I just started playing a little while ago and have really been enjoying it so far. However, there is a problem while playing that is starting to bug me.

    On my screen no matter which mode I'm in (i.e. full screen, windowed) and if v-sync & triple buffering are hard turned on, I still have horitonzal lines coming on from the side of my monitor. This only happens while playing FFXIV and it doesn't really block vision on playing it's just there on the sides and it's starting to annoy me.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    I used to have this problem when i ran FFXIV with all the specs turned up. For me it was my video card not being able to handle it / starting to die. I did try different monitors. Maybe try turning v-sync and triple buffering on with all other stats lowered and see what results you get.

    It's still persisting. I have everything turned to lowest settings or off. V-SYNC and Triple Buffering are manually turned on through my graphics card and I'm running the game in Windowed Mode. It only happens with this game and it runs everything else I own, including better detailed games perfectly fine.

    Any other ideas?

    I did some digging and figured out what it was. It was Visual Alerts!!!!!! I guess some people start with it enabled, so you just need to turn it off and everything works great.

    Can move this to resolved.

    Since you mention that it only happens in the game, by any chance did you accidentally turned on the "Enable Visual Alert" setting at "System Configuration > Accessibility Setting"? Otherwise if not, it could be the graphic hardware problem.

    Edit : Nevermind, you figured that out 2 minutes ago.
