I feel like Goblet got the short end of the stick and this reaffirms that. A fix would definitely be appreciated for those of us with houses in the Goblet.

The end result is Goblet home owners have less interior usable square footage than those in other housing areas. Thanks for the photo proof! This needs to be fixed!

OMG yes! Please fix this SE.
This bugs my OCD to no end. I mean who in their right mind wants to put all their furniture almost two feet away from the walls? Its not practical and it looks horrible!!
Can you imagine if your RL house was set up like this. All the stuff that might fall behind your shelves/dressers. With a gap that big you could even lose children behind them.
Think of the Lalafell SE. There might be some even now who are wedged behind furniture yelling for help. We need to prevent this travesty. Save the Lalafell!!!

It becomes even more jarring when it comes to fireplaces. I mean, if they're close to the wall, you can pretend the chimney's just built into the wall or is on the outside of the house, but when the fireplace is forced to stand away from the wall, where does the smoke go? D:
This is the closest we've ever managed to put our fireplace >.<

I couldn't agree more: Please fix this issue >.<

I love the landscape in the Goblet. The housing interior... is hard when placing items and I can't place them right up against the wall.
Until this thread I thought it was universal. :C

Yes, I agree! I wish they would just get rid of that stone border on the floor. It's not just the huge gap problem, it's also that the base of the furniture clips into the stone border because it is raised higher than the main part of the flooring. It looks horrible if one chair leg happens to go on this stone edge, because it looks like I sawed off the bottom of the leg to make it sit level. Rugs can also get tucked under there too, which is baffling. I appreciate the design accent, but the resulting decorating problems make it very unappealing. I'd rather not have it.

Developers, we need your words in here, this issue is terrible for all of us who have a house on the Goblet.

Wow... This just killed whatever minimal motivation I had to decorate my recently bought goblet home. This is seriously terrible. :/ If SE doesn't fix this, they should at least give goblet home owners some compensation because we clearly didn't get the same quality product as home owners from the other two regions.

Bump because the manor fireplace looks terrible in my room and i can't place it (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Could we get a response to this please.
I thought this was an all around housing issue until I read this thread.
It really needs to be fixed, it's not fair that my house cost the same as the houses in Lavender Beds & Mist when I have a lot less usable square footage.
I'm sure all of us would really appreciate a response. Thank you.
