    I often enjoy how much people who hate 1.0 really didn't know much about it.

    As much as I like the videos they don't do the combat system justice, all they do is make it feel slower than it actually was. Obviously just my opinion but I was a fan of the slower combat and weighted animations.

    The best example of how much weight you could feel with your actions was Steel Cyclone, you really felt your character prepare for that one.

    Nope, I'm pretty accurate.

    There are two kinds of people who like 1.0. Those who experienced Stockholm syndrome with it, and those who never played it and whom now have this misguided romantic ideal of what 1.0 was.

    I played 1.0 as well it wasn't good SE said as much themselves and thus the remake. Nobody liked animation lock and waiting 10-20 sec of auto attacking for TP to build to use other other attacks.

Good job still trying to sound cool and trying to appeal to someone by saying how much 1.X sucked, even though it's practically the same base and the team aside from the director and producer, the sound director, the UI director and the battle director who has since left the team and is now the XI director, are exactly the same from 1.0. If it weren't for 1.0 ARR wouldn't even exist, let alone it wouldn't have been produced in under 2 years since most of the hardest work related to making a game was simply carried over from it.

    You're exactly right. If 1.0 wasn't such a miserable failure ARR would indeed not exist. Makes you think, doesn't it?
