Diamonds in the Rough - Poor Design

The R40 300 pt. Faction leve "Diamonds in the Rough" is far too difficult to complete.

I failed it twice now because the NPC you have to follow doubles back, moves too quickly, and moves through areas populated by aggro mobs.

This highlights a general failure of all the leves which require to you remain "unseen" while following a NPC. It is too difficult to guess what distance is needed to be maintained from the NPC to avoid "You lose sight of xxxx" or "Xxxx spots you!" I am not asking for another crate-finding leve, but for a better indication of the NPC's detection radius and of where I must be to not "lose sight" of them.

Another option to consider to repair these leves is to simply increase the radius at which a player can remain in sight of the NPC and also reduce the NPC's detection zone.

Please see to this, as these type of leves are highly frustrating.

The NPC doubles back and sprints in the same place every time. You may not have been able to figure out the pattern on your first two tries, but when you fail, you don't fail the entire leve; you simply get started right back at the beginning. Have some patience. Just because you got started over twice doesn't mean there's something wrong with the leve.

To answer that: The leve isn't fun, nor is it exciting, educational, or even all that straightforward. Nor does the NPC do the same pattern every time. Its generally similar but has a random element to it. The problem is the detection zone is difficult to perceive as is the area you have to stay in to remain in sight.

The Horn and Hand leves need a big overhaul both to the leves themselves and to the rewards.

OK first of all, these leves are very very easy. However, most likely they will get redesigned soon, as with other leves.

    A few tips:
Line of sight, mobs will detect you by LoS, so just hide behind Wall, Rock, Tree etc.
When they stop and stand still, that's your cue to hide. They will very soon turn back 180 degree and run very quick.
You need to make sure you are within the circle are on the mini map (or highlighted area), just like when you follow your Companion during Story Mission Quest.
The target will generally make a quick turn back, run very fast for quite long duration at the end. When it happens, just run after them ASAP and forget all about hiding.

This is much easier than playing Stealth on say TES or FO, which are still easy as cake compare to MSG.
