Not having clear doesn't mean you don't know fight. You have 7 other people who can mess up as well.
What if you made it to 1-5% of the fight several times, what makes someone who got the extra 1% any better than the person that didn't? Who says the person that got the clear didn't finish the run on the floor and was the least productive member of the party? The myth message doesn't differentiate between a decent and a poor player because even bad players get clears. In fact I've had more trouble with "Farm" parties being unable to clear content then actual "clear" parties.

I am happy when I get extra soldiery, but I am not an ass. I never quit and always stay until time runs out, I cater to those who want to run the entire instance and those who want to watch cutscenes.
Having cleared the content means nothing someone could have died throught the fight being rezzed etc then at 1-3% maybe 4 people out of the whole group remained alive at the end. So that person constantly making mistakes could have gotten a clear even though they made numerous mistakes.
If you are new and you tried to sneak in a farm pt to get a clear, despite the advertisement said clearly a farm party, when you get kicked, the fault is in on you. However, this is not the cases in most, at least from my experience anyway, unless you messed up big times and many times during the run, you are welcomed to stay. I have done this a lot, as in, I had yet cleared and joined in a farm pt in hope of a clear, only when I am confident enough about the fight that I know I will not mess up and execute everything flawlessly. And even though when I get kicked, I have no one to blame but myself for breaking their recruitment fundamental rule. In short, DO NOT join in a farm party UNLESS you KNOW what you should do and what is your role.
There is a solution, however, for this problem, you can make your own party from your own circles and go from there. As for me. I am always happy when I see the Bonuses. I don't care who was the one yet cleared, as long as he did not mess up the fight for us, and even happy to carry him through the whole fight if we able to do it with 7 men.

You know what else is bullshit? Joining and advertised farm party to find out I'm carrying two people through a fight and then being forced to greed roll on things that I need for the class I'm playing.
I can totally understand being frustrated on getting kicked out after admitting you haven't cleared, in a PF that wasn't advertised on a farm... on something like turn 7 especially. Those runs are sold for millions of gil and there's no punishment for those players clearly getting paid in RMT gil too.
I'd have no problem and never have had a problem getting people clears in coil but I'm never allowed need rolls...
Basically. If I wanted to waste my time I'd join your learning/clear party. Yes, I do often join these parties too.
So many groups on my server in the PF have "no sold bonus" "bonus=kick" disclaimers in their information. People are a fan of the bonus for easy content where you can carry players but if they see it in coil 2 then they think its impossible to win.
Yeah because your killing my sale market by carrying bads.
I need another large house on one of my alts damnit.
