Just did this. I am running on wifi. My Download speed was 32.84 Mbps and my Upload was 5.30. Latency was 10 ms.

Hm. Then I don't know what it could be. It could just be something that is between Bright House and SE. But it's weird that your wife has no issues. :x That was about the only thing I could think of!

the problem has persisted since I was in Beta4...more often then not it has been found to be problems in route to SE's servers.

Check out the reliability of your route to the actual game server your client uses. You may find you routinely see high delays/packet loss in the same regions along your route. More often then not, it is either while still within your ISP's network or somewhere between when you get handed off to your ISP's routing partner and then handed off again to Ormuco (SE's ISP). If so... this is something your ISP's Tier3 techs can investigate and <hopefully> escalate your case for a proper resolution.

My wife plays FFXIV from her PC as well and she never gets DCed. My roommate doesn't have any problems either though he doesn't play FFXIV.

Lacard. We have the same ISP in the EXACT same area and I am having no such issues. :x

But then again. BHN gives me issues from time to time as it is.

Yea I'm not sure whats up. As I stated, my wife plays too and she has no issues. But I only just started seeing problems after 2.4. Right now I am going through other steps to see if its my PC in any way.

Good Luck! I had to fight BHN for a bit when we moved houses. Our internet tanked and it was because a cord was loose somewhere outside. ;;
If something better was offered here I would have it as far as ISP goes.

It's not FFXIV/SE's problem. It is one of Ormuco's shite routers up in Montreal that is pooping itself.

I am having connection lost issues as well. and it seems to happen around 8pm CST each time it has happened. no problems before then. It has happened on different days as well. I use ATT U verse and it didn't get bad until after 2.4 hit. We are both Wireless as well. happened on 2 different computers

Very similar problem for me but it's around 8 PM EST and I am also using U Verse.

To clarify I didn't have an 90k's even when I was on wireless today. So still unsure if the problem is fixed or not.
