It's not 100% that we get chocobos in 1.19 (they just hope to have it by then since they say 1.19 is so huge) That's not to say it isn't likely or anything.

This game was built to slow hardcore players and let casual catch up.
Surplus/Anima/G.favor/Set levels missions/fixed SP gain.
(I know surplus has been removed, thank the 12.)

my advice. get in a routine. do the EXACT same thing everyday, and make sure your teleportation charges perfectly in sync.

for example.

every day, i log on. fish a couple hours, and thne log off. the next day, i teleport to uldah, craft my fish into shards, put them on the market, and log off. the next day, i teleport back to la nosca, fish a couple hours, and log off and i have been doing exactly that everyday since they nefed DOM and DOW sp gain.

I have a story mission at the moment and i need to go to mor dhonna. I have never been so have to walk i took one look at the map and logged out. I will wait for chocobos i think.

You could hqve shouted in town for a port to mor dhona, that saved u some anima and gil is kinda free these days ha
