Why are people soo gun-ho about anima. All they need to do is add a teleport system and make it where anima is no longer. Gosh, stop thinking about anima people, its made you LAZY.

Wow some people are really pathetic according to some answers seen in this thread.
Quit a game over animas? lol if it only takes this little for you to ragequit, by all mean we don't need you in the community (now before you all go tell me "if we tell people to quit there won't be anyone left".. I am sorry but I have no interest to play with people with so little patience)
Also, just stop using animas all the time and you should be fine. I hardly go under 80 animas. You have to think before teleporting. Sometimes it's just a 5 minute walk, so don't teleport in that case.
Also with the free return and the new ability to set your home point, your anima use should be lowered a lot.
if with all that you cannot manage your animas, then please quit. You are free to do so and come back when they add chocobos and airships.
I know! We COPY FFXI AGAIN and insert outposts we pay to teleport to so we can create another gil sink~!
*runs*
I'm also kidding again. Set up some favorite destinations or start walking a little more. I get by fine using the teleport once a day at most normally, unless I forget to turn in a local and have to go back.

It's not that difficult to manage Anima. Run short distances and save anima for long distance ports. Make some friends / get in an LS.
Seriously, with cities costing half, and on top of that being able to select 3 favorites it's easy.
he's not really a troll, if you strateigcaly use your anime, you can get pretty far with just 8.
First thing you do is setup 3 favored areas based on what's important to your level. Then consider what you are doing the leves for, if you want GM then you just go to the proper area to see if there are any options or if you just want skill gains then you can just stay in one area for the most part.
For GM if you are doing multiple GMs check LL, if you find some rn off do them, take advantage of the ability to return to a base camp node if the leve takes place at an order node since it'll usually bring you close to town. Also if I"m not mistaken we do have homepoints now which should make it even easier. Heck if HP work in the way I"m thinking then disregard this comment and juts do the following.
With this setup you can possibly just use 6-8 anima a leve change.
Go to LL set HP, then if you favored said area use 2 anima to pop there. Do the leves and hit return.
If the 1 anima makes a difference grab the both to head to Ulda and take a 15 min break grab a bite to eat get some work done. When you pop off the boat head to Ulda. From Ulda you have two options. Based on the location of the leve I think running in this area would work best since the distance of things aren't to bad. You can set your HP at the first camp, then head west or east or even north based on where your leve is at. If you head west, then you use return to arrive back at the first camp, If you are heading north to the mines you can just use return to arrive back at the first camp though if you are heading east then you can just run NE from there to arrive to Gridi.
Sure there's a bit of running around but not as much. Basically what I"m getting at is instead of just burning your anima to arrive at leves areas qucker then getting annoyed at the fact you don't have enough anima to do anything, instead strategize where using anima is worth it and in other cases where you can run to said location without wasting anima. Also with the new Home point option if it works in the manner I'm thinking it should be even easier to conserve anima.
When Airships and Chocobos come out, forget your animas, they will be abolished... Remeber these words!
Really ....qq over amina , RUN MORE PORT LESSS ITS NOT SO BAD !!!
I am an Italian and I'll tell you that the Italians don't drive Masarati.
Anyway, I prefer to ride a chocobo lol
P.S. sorry for my bad English but I did my best LOL
