At a crossroads

This is not a complaint thread so you guys can douse the torches and put up the pitchforks.

Posting on the general forum on the off chance someone that sees this has an idea. The game isn't my problem, its the (lack of) community on my server. I started at launch on Leviathan but left shortly after to Brynhildr as at the time Levi's community left something to be desired, and found a generally friendly FC - though it degraded with time into a endgame only FC. Brynhildr itself is a rather small server so that limits my choices greatly.

I'm trying to find something akin to what I had in XI, a handful of people who just enjoy the game without all the bells and whistles drama. That includes a place that doesn't use a voice chat, as every time I've tried one that has a "optional" chat, people split up into groups and the FC starts to die out unintentionally. On XI, our LS had about 15-25 active people, we didn't use a website/voicechat, plans were posted on the /lmes etc etc; things were kept simple and in-game. As for the type, mostly a jack-of-all-trades.

I have no problem moving to another server/data center and currently visiting random servers just to see how people are. Although, going just by visits is entirely by chance and hoping this post might get some attention.

Those curious, my LS was AlliedForceofAltana on Hades. Sirriffy, Amanox, and the rest of the crew; I tip my hat to you guys, still have yet to find a FC that can replace what AFoA did. x.x...

Hi hi!! If its a good community your looking for, I don't know for sure if this will help but I have found a lot of friendly LS on Lamia, and there are quite a few really social "active speakers in chat" FC's that some friends of mine are in. I also found this to be the same case on Excalibur too ^_^

Anyways I just wanted to toss that out there. If you end up making a lv 1 on lamia you can use the PF to find some social LS pretty quickly

I am a PS4 player myself so I tend to stay away from people requiring voice chat to be social, so I understand that feeling. I always find chat to be more interesting anyways. Anyways I am likely rambling now, lol I wish you luck in your search

I might give Lamia a try then. I was considering that server earlier today anyways as its housing prices are in the middle from 2.3 notes, and that pretty much the best guess I can make for population lol... I've only seen one sight with rough estimate of numbers and the site hasn't been updated in over 8 months.
