Cool stuff. I'll answer most of these, I'm going to skip the RP section though. I don't participate so I don't feel like I should create something just for the sake of this survey

Character Info 1

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name? - Indaki Sativa. I created the name 15 years ago when I started playing D&D for the first time. Origin seems a bit obvious

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that? - Wildwood Elezen. I came in to FFXIV expecting to main a Bard and (before I realized racial bonuses were miniscule) I read the descriptions of the races/tribes and decided this would be the best fit for a Bard.

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that? - I have mained Bard for the entirety of FFXIV:ARR. I originally chose the Job because I have always liked archers, I am a very musical person in real life, and being able to be mobile on the battlefield. This has evolved as I have progressed in Coil turns, because of my mobility I am usually tasked with handling mechanics. I kite in T7, and handle the Brainjack/tether/bombs mechanics in T8. Tanking golems in T9, etc etc. I enjoy the added responsibility.

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that? - I chose the Immortal Flames, even though it did kind of make me feel like I let the Twin Adders down! I listened to all of the "speeches" that were given by the GC leaders when I was first tasked with choosing one, and Raubahn's speech was the most invigorating. His speech alone is what guided my decision.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that? - I don't glamour my weapon. Everything else is fair game, but I don what I use because I don't want someone to guess what my damage output is going to be based on my weapon, which is my Artemis Bow Nexus.

What do you think your primary character's signature ability is? Why do you think that? - This is a tough question for a Bard. A Bard's harp is iconic to it's role in FFXIV:ARR lore, but singing can be very situational in this game. If it were to be a song, I would definitely say Foe Requiem because it can be used generously, and even if I am grouped with another melee, as long as the healer DPS's it is useful. Paeon only needs to be used in long fights (or with people that can't manage TP properly) and Ballad is the same with MP replacing TP.

However, while singing is an integral part of the job if it played correctly, so is attacking. In the attack respect, I can easily say Bloodletter is my iconic move. Proc'ing a bloodletter multiple times in a row is the best. I always imagine a Windbite/Venomous Shot sticking, and then causing the enemy a momentary wince of pain which is the "lore" reason behind my extra arrow. Like I see an added opportunity to attack based on the bleeding

Is your primary character a part of a Free Company? If so, what is it? Why did you join that Free Company? - I created the Free Company Indaki is the leader of. We are The Beast Clan - tag is <RAWR!> We only have 60 members, because I didn't want to manage an enormous FC, however all of the members are pretty tight and share similar respects towards the game. We are casual, hardcore, raiding, crafting and basically everything in between. The catchline for my FC is the mastery over all aspects this game has to offer. You don't need a particular mindset to join, and no one pressures anyone else. We all have fun doing whatever in the game we have doing, with other FC members or without.

The World 1 (Geography)

What is your favorite region of Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - I'm not sure I have most favorite "region", but I definitely have a favorite spot. The vista type view in Lower La Noscea looking out towards the Salt Strand, specifically the coral formation protuding from ocean shore. I love that spot. My least favorite region of the game is East Shroud. The beast tribe quests of this region play heavily into why I don't like it. I wasn't a fan of those quests.

What is your favorite spot to relax in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - My favorite spot to relax in Eorzea is my FC house, with a close second being my personal house. FC house trumps the personal because it's nice to see my FC members drop in and have quick chats with them. I don't have a least favorite spot.

What is your favorite spot to fight in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Wherever a monster is that threatens me and my team is simultaneously my most and least favorite. Most favorite during the thrill of battle, and least favorite after the threat has been vanquished because there is no longer a reason to linger around.

What is your favorite spot to shop in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - I guess since I do almost all of my shopping in my housing area, Gridania Ward 2 is my favorite spot to shop Limsa feels like a crowded bazaar where I have to worry about fez-wearing monkeys stealing apples out of my pocket....so that would be my least favorite.

The World 2 (NPCs)

Who is your favorite NPC? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Godbert. Hands down He is hilarious, and I look forward to every quest continuation with him in it. I guess Thancred would be my least favorite NPC, because I always attribute characters that get brainwashed to being weak at their core. He shouldn't be allowed to remain a Scion imo.

Who is your favorite City-State Leader? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Raubahn, for reason see why I joined my GC. Least favorite is Kan-E-Senna. She seems almost emotionless, and while that may be a good quality for a leader to have, she makes me feel like she doesn't care enough about situations.

Who is your favorite Scion? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Favorite is Urianger. He seems to have the most knowledge out of all of the Scions, and he's the one who always gives me money after I complete the hardest things in the game Least favorite is Thancred, for reason see my least favorite NPC.

Who is your favorite Primal? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Favorite Primal is Titan. I still think Titan EX is one of the most fun fights in this game, even if you can over-gear the crap out of him now. I have a level of enjoyment from all of the primals, so I feel like identifying a Least Favorite would just be nitpicking.

Who is your favorite boss? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why? - Favorite boss is Nael deus Darnus because that is the hardest fight my static has completed as of yet. We learned t10, but need more damage so going back to farm Nael until everyone has i115 weapons. Least favorite is the Ape in Hullbreaker Isle, because I know that damned dirty ape sees me as a threat and always targets me with Stool Pelt. So....dirty.....

Music - I play FFXIV on PS4, but normally play with a headset on my computer for mumble with my static. I don't use push to talk, so that basically makes me mute my TV. I can't really give insight into why I don't like things I don't hear that often so I will skip most of this section. My favorite theme is the Gilgamesh fight, and my favorite boss theme is Nael deus Darnus.

Gameplay - I play on PS4, so I don't tinker with graphical qualities. I play with default graphics and default sound settings. I play with a controller.

The Future: - I am only going to answer one of these, since I am running out of time at work lol.

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that? - I would like to see a FFXIV version of an alliance raid in the Tower of Babel from FFIV. I even created an encounter for this in a different thread asking to design a dungeon.

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?
Mordecai Bloodhoof. The first name is just a name I really like. I heard it while my brother was playing Fire Emblem and I've stuck with it since. Bloodhoof is a reference to World of Warcraft.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Roegadyn / Sea Wolf - Because I found this race to be the most attractive to me. Plus Roegadyn look amazing as Paladins.

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Gladiator/Paladin. Because I thought the armour looked amazing... and I wanted to main tank.

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
The Immortal Flames. Main reason was because I started my adventure in Ul'dah. I had a tough time picking between the Immortal Flames and the Maelstrom.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
I don't glamour my weapon on my main, I love the PLD weapon far too much.

What do you think your primary character's signature ability is? Why do you think that?
Probably Circle of Scorn... because it's flashy.

Is your primary character a part of a Free Company? If so, what is it? Why did you join that Free Company?
Yep. My free company is Bara Legion. I didn't join it, I made it together with my boyfriend.

Where did your primary character come from? How do they feel about where they came from?
I have never really thought about where exactly he came from. I'd imagine he came from the lands to the north where the Sea Wolf Roegadyn originally travelled from. I guess his home for now is Ul'dah though.

Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?
Once again, I don't usually dwell on my character's back story. I'd imagine he does have family but I don't feel like coming up with specifics. He has a boyfriend which happens to be my IRL boyfriend.

What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?
Well considering I've posted many screenshots and there is a drawing of him in my signature, I won't answer the first part. He looks like that because I find him attractive that way. Generally his clothes change depending on my mood and the class I'm playing. He picks those clothes because I pick them for him. He has no say in this... Shhh Mordecai, you can totally walk around in skimpy clothes in Coerthas...

What is your primary character's personality? What do they like? What do they dislike? What are they afraid of? What makes them happy? What makes them sad? What makes them angry?
My character is basically me in Eorzea so he would mimic my feelings and emotions in any given situation.

Does your primary character have a backstory? Were there any interesting events in their past that led them to become the people they are today?
I have not come up with a backstory for him

The World 1 (Geography):

What is your favorite region of Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Probably Middle La Noscea. It's very picturesque... East Shroud. Because of the tainted Sylph...

What is your favorite spot to relax in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
My FC House in the Mist. Because it's pretty. Mor Dhona. Because it's full of people.

What is your favorite spot to fight in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Currently Snowcloak because the music is so relaxing. Least favourite will be Aurum Vale. Self explanatory.

No I don't.

The World 2 (NPCs):

Who is your favorite NPC? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Currently is Moenbryda. Because she is hilarious! Urangier (or however you spell his name) Because of the way he talks.

Who is your favorite City-State Leader? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Probably Raubahn followed very closely by Merlwyb. Because he's a very strong character. Well I guess my least favourite is Kan-E-Sena but I've warmed up to her in the last few patches.

Who is your favorite Scion? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Yda because she's silly... Least favourite... well yeah Urangier...

Who is your favorite Primal? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Shiva or Garuda... or Moggle Mog... I'll go with Garuda. Mostly because I love her song. Least favourite would be Leviathan. I'm not a fan of his song.

Who is your favorite boss? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Ultros, such a silly but fun fight. / All the Aurum Vale bosses. Because they are awful.

Music:

What is your favorite song in FFXIV? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Answers. Because it's epic. I guess Leviathan is my least favourite.

What is your favorite battle theme in FFXIV? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Probably the normal combat music. I don't have a least favourite.

What is your favorite field/town theme in FFXIV? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Either Thanalan or La Noscea. Can't pick between those. They are both wonderful. / Mor'Dhona, not that I don't like it, it's just my least favourite currently.

I don't know. They all share music so it's not as if I can pick a certain boss. I feel this question is very similar to the battle theme question.

Gameplay:

What graphical settings do you play with? Why is that?
Laptop (High) with some slight tweaks like removing the ambient occlusion / 1920x1080 . Because I like the game to look pretty and my Laptop runs it at a 40-60fps.

What sound settings do you play with? Why is that?
The default. Because I don't feel the need to change them.

Do you play with a gamepad or with a Keyboard/Mouse? Why is that?
Keyboard and mouse. Because I prefer it.

The Future:

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
Red Mage, because it would be kinda cool to see...

What region would you like to visit most in the world? Why?
Ala Mhigo. I'd love to see what it looks like now that the Garleans have been there for this long.

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
Crystal Chronicles. I feel like a dungeon inspired by FF:CC would go really well in this game.

What item or set of items would like most like to see in the game? Why?
I don't know. I'll let the game designers come up with more cool armour. Also, I wouldn't mind more slutty outfits for men!

Enuin Rose
Enuin is a name I've used in many games, usually a healer.
The rose part was part of the random name thing. But It stuck really well and most people I meet tend to call me Rose because It's easier to type.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Hyur, Midlander.
I don't really know why I picked that, other than that I liked it and it just seemed to fit.

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
My primary class / job is.. EVERYTHING.
Not even joking, I literally play everything.
Why, because I can, and because unlike most games, I can be all of it, on the same character, how rare is that? - Rare enough for me to decide to do it, that's how rare it is

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
Initially Gridania, I just really liked Gridania's forest feel.
That said, Currently I'm with Ul'dah, with an intention of checking out Limsa's in the future.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
For a time I ran with Lightning's sword (because it did the whole swish swish thingy. on my paladin, then Odin's sword (Because it went all weoosh). But now I just use the zenith's for all my weapons.

Uhm, all I can think of is Flash 2.0 otherwise known as Holy.
But I'm not sure if that's signature, Perhaps the effect whenever I switch classes, since I do that so much :P

I have my own little social group link-shell called Roseline,

She came from Limsa, but doesn't particularly feel too strongly about that, she just sorta escaped from there to the forests to just get away from everything.

Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?
None anymore.

What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?
She's short, usually long/medium long hair, and dyed in any colour that I feel like.
I use the hairstylist every week or so.
She pretty much wears myth/class specific lvl 50 gear. Nothing too fancy, nothing too bold. In her free time she wears a dress or something modest, glasses, and a bit of jewelry.
And she's always looking for some good boots/shoes, those are hard to find.

I'm incredibly friendly and helpful, until you ask why.. Then it becomes a bit dark.
As for likes I like honest people that're respectful to eachother. and Mi'qote's, specifically the male variety. :3
And every single lala dress up doll I've met, I collect those.
I dislike people who're quick to judge.
As for the happy thing. I love seeing people that decide that a setback is a challenge and an supposedly impossible feat, is just something we should do.
I get sad when people just give up and leave. And I get angry when people show an disregard to my friends or their efforts.

She originally hailed from Limsa where she was an simple fisher together with her sister. And she continued to do just that during the times of 1.0, while her sister went out and adventured the world. Then her sister dis-appeared with the battle of bahamut, (ending of 1.0) after which, she decided to head off and become an adventurer to find out what happened to her sister (start of 2.0)

Favourite: used to be Southern Thanalan, until I got my own house, since then it's the goblet(nr16) in my front garden sipping tea.
Least favourite: Western Limsa (near aleport) I dislike the look of the Sahagin area (my apologies to the artist who made that area, but I just don't like it )

What is your favorite spot to relax in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Best place to relax is anywhere where there's sun, a beach (optional) and good weather.
Least favourite, anywhere where you're constantly charged by some random fate farming group, They're annoying when you're trying to enjoy the scenery.

What is your favorite spot to fight in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
My favorite spot to fight is in any dungeon with good bgm
Least favorite is in any place where it's too busy.

What is your favorite spot to shop in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?
Favorite would be in limsa, due to the bright areas, and the ease of access.
Least favorite would be uldah, because there's not an easy fast way to get to the stores.

Favourite npc, Hoary Boulder comes to mind, I just like how he's in touch with the kids and how he tries to be the best he can be
Least Favorite, I don't really have a npc I really dislike, there're a few I love to hate, but that's not a least favourite

Kann-E-Senna, I just like how she's keeping the whole place in relative peace.
I dislike Raubhann and the sultana, because they're so caught up in politics it paralyses them half the time into inaction.

The second boss in Snowfall(?) The snowball fight, because it's a snowball fight

Red, and blue mage/gunblade Specialist
Because more magic, and gunblades <3

Garlemald? Because I wonder how their capitol would look.

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
I suppose I'd like to see an raid/dungeon set, inspired by FF13, in the way that you start somewhere on the street levels in a city, and fight your way forward, through many dungeons all the way up to and through an castle. or something like that. Something big where you go through places really.

What item or set of items would like most like to see in the game? Why?
Gunblades, and a whitemage robe set with a hood that can be popped up or down. Because that's what I feel is missing
Other than that, more sets of anything, and boots, Definitely need some boots that can go with just about anything, or several sets that can go with most stuff.

Reebie Baramnesra. The first part is what I go by IRL and the surname is just a spell from healing-magic in the final fantasy games
What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
I am back to be a sun-seeker miqote, however I also spent alot of time a highlander hyur. I changed back once the dreadlocks were made available.
What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Monk, because while trialing the many phases of Beta I found this one to be the fastest paced and challenging. That said, I use Warrior and White mage alot too.
Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
Maelstrom - because this feels the most Nordic/Celtic of the three.
What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
I used to use the moogle mogfists but am using the default animus fists until I can get the newer version of them.
What do you think your primary character's signature ability is? Why do you think that?
As a sneaky back-up tank, I have most warrior buffs at the ready as well as mantra to help the real tank get back on his feet.
Is your primary character a part of a Free Company? If so, what is it? Why did you join that Free Company?
Yes - Laughing Coffins. Just liked the display tag [LAUGH]

Where did your primary character come from? How do they feel about where they came from?
Shes not from anywhere in particular. She has traveled around. Mostly lived in dusty hideouts until recent times.
Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?
No known family and no desire to find one. This would be too much burden at times like this.
What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?
Reebie looks like a tanned bandit who has been through many wars/battles. She (being miqote) does not bathe in water so has a very dirty/dusty face. She wears very little clothing and is proud to show herself off.

She just wants to see great things, vast scenery, strong and powerful primals.

Sorry to disapoint but no, she does not have a huge backstory or events. The present is her time to shine.

Upper la Noscea - because its pretty and mostly quiet. Least is probably Southern Thanalan because there too much empty space its rather daunting

East Thanalan or Northern Thanalan, its a tought choice between. Least is Mor Dhona because its so bright I get distracted by shiny things.

Currently I am not fond of the shopping availabilty so prefer distance selling methods offered by the marketboards

currently gilgamesh or hildebrand because its good to laugh and be silly once in a while. least is possible all the lalafells, ALL of them

not sure which is my fave but the gridanian lady is too poncey for my liking

Ultimate Weapon is favourite by a mile. So much variety in one fight. Least is probably last boss in haukke manor

Ultimas Ballad (i think thats the name?). I dont have a least fave

all maxed out, although framrate is capped as my monitor's refresh isnt very great

theres sound settings? i mostly play with volume way down so I can hear teamspeak

keyboard & mouse. I have played with the gamepad when on PS4 which is convinient for gathering but not for battling I need more keys!

The Future:

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
musketeer/canoneer/gunner because I want ranged physical dps that actualy has a dps limit break
What region would you like to visit most in the world? Why?
No idea what areas we have yet to explore but I'd like to see some more oceanic/amazon-like areas or marsh areas
If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
would like to see another magitek-focussed dungeon but not set at night
What item or set of items would like most like to see in the game? Why?
I would strongly love to see a romantic-gothic range of gear & weapons, such as a harp that has melted candles running down the top of it.

Character Info 1:

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?
Overlord Rikkustrife. Originally it was just a mix between Rikku and Cloud Strife, but since I have been using the name for so long, it became a name on its own, and it is her now her name, she has appeared in other games. Overlord is because Rikkustrife has no last name, so I needed something to put there.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon. She was a Mithra in XI, I like cat girls, and only the Keepers could have blue skin.

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Red Mage when it comes out. Bard was the one I chose, because of the hat, it is currently one of the best hats in the game, and will do until the Red Mage hat comes. Scholar is her second job, both Scholar and Bard fit her personally of being a supportive leader. Carpenter is her man DoH, and Botanist is her main DoL.

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
Twin Adder. Because Gridania is similar to Windurst, it is the prettiest of the three, and nature and peace are great.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
Garuda's Spine, Garuda has the nicest looking weapons, and the bow is great, and Artemis Atma, the bow harp is cool, if only the harp was used during songs.

She came from the Black Shroud, she likes where she came from, she left because she loves exploring new areas, not with any issue of her home.

She has a mother. They get along great. She only left because she loves travelling and exploring, she misses her. Rainbow Shy is her significant other, she is another character of mine. She views her friends as family.

Blue-skinned Miqo'te, shortest height, longest tail, two scars. It was the design I liked the most of all the possible choices, and I still think she looks wonderful today. She wears blue clothing, can be anything, but if it is dyeable, it will be blue, she wears both revealing and covered clothing. She has a blue obsession, some say blue skin and blue clothes is tacky, but she does not care. She loves hats, particularly those with feathers in them, loves Amon's hat, except for the goggles, she hates covering her eyes, so does not wear that hat.

She is a supporter, and leader. She has a group of 8, including her, that she found throughout Eorzea, she guides them, they are rather an unorthodox group, and she put them together. She is their reason for being there, she will risk her life to save one in need. She dislikes those who are rude to or take advantage of those weaker than her, Rainbow Shy's jealousy, how her friends tend to get in trouble when she is not around. She is afraid of her friends getting hurt, and not being able to travel. Blue, Rainbow Shy, art, , exploring and friends make her happy. She is rarely sad, the absence of things that make her happy would be what makes her sad.

Does your primary character have a backstory? Were there any interesting events in their past that led them to become the people they are today?
She does, but it is the future that is interesting. This is the beginning of her story. She will learn how to make her body become incorporeal, and travel to different worlds. She can then recreate a body suitable for these worlds she explores. She will gain a vast amount of knowledge of many different worlds, witnessing the art that these world provides, and exploring the landscape and new cultures. Her love of exploring is how all this is possible. Her friends have a way to go with her, but it is a lot more crude since they do not have the ability to become incorporeal. She has many stories yet ahead of her, that I know of, but she is not aware of this yet.

Camp Tranquil, I love the look of the area around it, looks like houses built in trees, and the bridges connecting them, with the swamp area around it.
If you look at the area around from Camp Tranquil it looks just like a place with animals living there, and they don't seem like enemies.
Oghomoro Mines would be my least faveorite, very little going on in there visually. From a technical standpoint they look nice, just not artistically.
Though Outer La Noscea is one of the nicest areas otherwise.

My personal room, bed to share with Rainbow Shy, and built to suit Rikkustrife's tastes, can craft there, and everything needed is just outside the house.

Labyrinth of Ancients, and Syrcus Tower, 2 of the nicest designed areas in the game, and they are fun, despite the people you can end up with.
Least favorite is sapsa spawning grounds, the sahagins just don't stop coming and when doing beastmen quests on rainbow shy as dragoon, she ends up dying a lot,
all that magic water damage.

Gridania Markets is my favorite, just most familiar spot, habit to go there, least is Ul'dah's market, farthest from any aetheryte.

Yda, she is cute, always makes me laugh, her design is interesting in that we do not know what she looks like, and she is skilled at fighting.
Least favorite would be Vannes from Hildibrand story, worse kind of person.

Kan-E Senna, she is calm, wants peace, but will fight if required, she seems to be the one that understands the most that each city-state would be better united.
Least is Merlwyb, she caused most of the issues with their beast tribes, trying to get more land by taking theirs.

Yda is my favorite, same reasons as my favorite NPC, least favorite would be , well I don't have a least favorite, Thancred I guess, though I like them all, perhaps Alphinaud, I like him, he just seems naive at times.

Garuda, I liked her extreme fight since it seemed more about working together than dodging stuff. Titan, I think his fights are overrated, being hard does not
always mean better, plus he has the worse weapon designs of not just primals but in the entire game. Garuda also has a great design, Titan does not. Shiva would
be my second favorite, her story and design are great as well.

Final Fantasy V, The Void, they already hinted at in in the main scenario, it is one of my favorite Final Fantasies. the void would be a place that they could have fun designing, the world would not need to feel cohesive, since it could have towns from different eras, cultures, landscapes right next to each other, since the void sucked up towns. Lunatic Pandora would be another option that would not be far-fetched to fit in story.

-Robert Ackerman. It's my real name.

-Hyur. I like to represent. Also since I used my real name, I felt I should pick the most human option.

-I started as an Arcanist, then went to 50 as an Armorer, worked my way up as a Paladin, and now I mostly play Scholar.

-The Maelstrom. I feel like Limsa as a whole kind of represents freedom, accepting the good with the bad about that freedom. I respect it, and so Limsa sort of feels at home to me.

-Zantetsuken. Though I mostly play Scholar, I usually just use whatever is equipped. I love the Zantetsuken in design and background.

-Adloquium. I feel like plenty of other Scholars see it as a secondary heal. I use it as my primary heal, and I've gotten good with the timing on when it wears off, so I rarely ever miss Galvanize. I don't run out of MP either.

-Wardens of Unity. I joined due to a Linkshell about Chocobo's, which advertised itself on the beta forums. Most of the Linkshell members joined that FC and so I did too, and I don't regret it.

- Yehn’zi Panipahr. It was auto-generated, because I planned to make a girl cat (I’m a girl IRL) and found out in the character creation that I actually cannot stand their voice options and I wasn’t super impressed by the hairstyles, etc. Had no male-ish alternative names off the top of my tongue, so I just took what I got, but it’s really grown on me.

- Miqo’te Keeper. See above—I knew I wanted to be a Miqo’te no matter what because I love animal-esque characters, but wasn’t impressed by the options for female models. Chose Keeper for the cooler color schemes and the better healing stats.

- White Mage is what I started with, and I played White Mage pretty strictly up until recently. I picked it to help give my IRL friends shorter queues. However, I mostly play Bard in end game content as it is less stressful.

- Immortal Flames. I originally wanted to join the Maelstrom because pirates, but all my other friends started in Ul’dah, so they insisted on the Flames. Coin/country and all that biz has swayed me in the end, but Immortal Flames Frontlines makes me want to cry a bit...

- I’m part of Ultima’s Requiem, a tiny little free company made up of just myself and IRL friends who play. I like playing with friends a ton, but I do wish I was part of a larger free company sometimes, so I’d not have to use the duty finder to fill party gaps so much.

- I’ve never really given much thought as to where my character came from before Eorzea. I guess I imagined him as the type who said goodbye to the old life in order to live a new one… A forest somewhere or something… Maybe from somewhere in Garlean-held territory? That’d be interesting.

Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?
- Apparently a boat load of them. I didn’t know the lore when I auto-generated the name, but after looking it up later, apparently the ‘zi means my character has eight other brothers, which is ridiculously rare. Oops. After finding that out, my head canon is that his mother is pretty revered among the neighboring Keeper families for having so many sons (and god knows how many daughters she had too), but as the youngest son, my character probably just felt totally overshadowed/smothered in that huge family and decided to strike out on his own as an adventurer.

What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?
- Dark-skinned and light-haired. Probably that’s some weird evolutionary thing for blending in while hunting at night or something. I just like dark-skinned, light-haired looks on fantasy characters. XD Yehn’zi will wear whatever is available except for hats which are icky and ear-squishing.

- Yehn’zi always has a grumpy look on his face, which tends to keep people away, but in reality he just has a bad case of Bitchy Resting Face and is actually generally polite. He’s a bit stand-offish like most Keeper boys but that’s mostly because he’s used to being in the background and drowned out by a bunch of older brothers. He’s probably kind of uncomfortable being the center of much attention because it’s such an unusual experience for him, but he has a strong sense of duty, so he’ll do what he has to for Eorzea. Being able to support friends in times of need is what makes him happiest, so he often gets roped into helping with difficult tasks. Yehn’zi doesn’t generally get sad, because usually the day is saved and everyone goes home happy. Ascians make him very angry. Also the Syndicate. And trolls. And the Maelstrom at Carteneau. Screw those guys.

- I kind of gave it already, but I think that Yehn’zi was mostly just… colorless before coming to Eorzea. (Ha ha, because he…. you know, didn’t exist. XD) He did what was expected of him in his family, helped out, but didn’t really have any chance to shine or feel all that close to his own family members. When the chance for adventure finally came, he jumped at the call and decided to put the past behind him. Every day in Eorzea is a chance to learn and do something exciting and new, and his experiences since becoming an adventurer have definitely shaped him more than anything that came before.

- I love love the crystals and strangeness of the Burning Wall in Eastern Thanalan. Least favorite is Outer La Noscea. Seriously, if I never set foot in those mines again…

- Lost City of Amdapor. Love love love the music, atmosphere, etc. Also Syrcus Tower is absurdly pretty. Least favorite, anything to do with Titan. Just… get awayyyyy.

- Nerooooooo. I actually skipped all the cutscenes for pretty much the entire story up until the end, so I had no idea who he was when going into the fight or anything, but I just had so much fun in that fight, getting knocked around by The Hand, stupid puns about electricity… I just was happy every time I got to that fight in Main Story roulette. Then I finally watched the cutscenes and his “Senpai, notice me!” personality was so funny/endearing. Dear Square Enix, please don’t kill off Nero in Crystal Tower 3, kthxbai. My least favorite, um… maybe Livia? Or that evil Lalafel from the Weaver storyline. I like most of the people in this game really…

- NANAMO. My heart, augh. So adorable and awesome. Least favorite… I literally have none. I love all the city-state leaders.

He’s just… there.

- Does Nero cou—Ultima HM actually. That fight is wonderfully dramatic. Least favorite, um… the final boss of Aurum Vale? It’s an entire dungeon of Marlboros. Now fight a bigger Marlboro!

- The Dalamud version of Answers. Super haunting and I wasn’t even playing at that time. The Lost City of Amdapor music is also gorgeous. Least favorite, um… is there even music in Thanalan? I like, can’t even recall it, it’s that plain.

- Ultima HM. It just screams “BOSS FIGHT.” Least favorite… I can’t remember Ifrit’s music at all, so probably that.

- I just went with the pre-selected settings on my PS4. I think it’s set on highest though.

- I have the sound down super low because I’m always on Skype/TS and don’t want to annoy people with my noise. I turn off other players’ sounds sometimes when people are annoyingly spamming moves. I usually watch cutscenes in Japanese or German because I don’t like the English voice actors.

- Controller.  Although I also have a mouse and keyboard plugged in at all times for when they are needed.

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
- I was really looking forward to musketeer, but with these rumors that it might be a healing class, I’m kind of less interested in it. I would love love love to see Red Mage and also Dancer in this game.

- Well, since we are getting Ishgard soon, I would like to visit the empire and see what life is like among the Garleans.

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
- Mm, I don’t know. I kind of like limiting the stuff from other Final Fantasies coming into this game—I’d rather see this game do new things and triumph on its own rather than capitalize on the success of previous games. For nostalgia, maybe they could port some of the unique FF11 fights into this game as a special challenge?

- I would honestly be happy with just being able to more freely glamor the things we have without all these annoying class restrictions. But outfits/armor based on the primals might be cool. Weapons and accessories are nice and all, but robes with flowing feathers like Garuda or armor with flickers of flame like Ifrit would be nifty.

•What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?

Nuinn Nomi ~ Nuinn was a druid name of Ross Nichols, while my char's last names comes from the last name of Klaus Sperber's stage persona Klaus Nomi. Both men fasicnating to me for completely different reasons.

•What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?

Roegadyn (Sea Wolf). I was a Hyur Midlander for the longest time (since 1.0 release till recentlyish) cause at the time, even though I wanted to go Roe, I've felt that my ingame char should look like the irl me. Now I'm finally playing something with a lot more flavor. Sea Wolf because I just think they look more appealing than their Hellsguard brethren.

•What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?

After a lot of wandering (CNJ > WHM > BLM in 1.0 then WHM > SCH > BRD in ARR) I've finally found my place among other Bards. Fitting to my char as well, considering his name, since Nuinn was a druid (and bards fall under that umbrella too) and Klaus Nomi was a singer.

•Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?

The Twin Adders (Gridania) has been my GC since 1.0 (as well as my starting nation) so I'm staying loyal to them, even though I do fancy Gridania as a whole a lot less in ARR than I did in 1.0.

Of course ^ ^ The FC Abyss <Abyss> on Excalibur is my home *points to signature*. Its core are friends from 1.0 Palamecia/Excalibur who were in a LS called Gather Together but there's lots of new lovely friends now in there too. It's a.... very colorful FC with all sorts of personalities that make one crazy fun ARR family.

The Dalamud. Yes. He got accidentally trapped inside with Bahamut cause he was in the wrong place, at the wrong time and is dopey like that.

Physically, apart from his size, he's more on the cuddly/kind side with dorky glasses - all of which is nicely balanced by always wearing as little as possible. People have praised his choice of clothes (or lack thereof) as well as gouged their retinas because of it.

A very long time ago he did something horrible, for which he vowed to only do his best at being a good and decent Eorzean. He still has nightmares from time to time, waking up in cold sweat. A wine bottle and a towel by his bed, for that reason (no matter what my FC mates tell you! Yes, it's for that.... Ahem >.>) Long, long time ago, while he was still a stray Roe he kinda, sorta, in a way.... ate a Lalafell D: There! I confessed! I did it! I diiiiid Q___Q *breaks into tears*

The World 1 (Geography):

•What is your favorite region of Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?

Either our FC home Abyss Bay in Mist or my personal one Vertical Vista in Goblet cause there's where most of my FC friends are too.

Least favorite would probably be either Mor Dhona or Coerthas cause of the noise (plus, getting sick of Ixali dailies making me go there)

•What is your favorite spot to relax in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?

I love, love, looove the Hermit's Hovel in Outer La Noscea. Seriously, I wanna live there! ; ; Usually no one even ventures there, which makes it a perfect spot to relax.

Least.... Hmmm, Revenant Toll. Too many people with shiny shoulders, shiny weapons, shiny shields and shiny horses.

•What is your favorite spot to fight in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?

Let's put it this way. Any dungeon (Normal or Hard Mode) >>> Any Primal (Story mode, Hard Mode, Extreme) >>> Coil (ugh!) just cause I find arena-type fights (except Ultros <3) extremely boring and mind numbing, no matter that the dungeons are easy but at least I feel like I'm adventuring, as opposed to just being lolqueued into a boss fight as soon as I enter.

•What is your favorite spot to shop in Eorzea? Why is that? Least Favorite? Why?

Market board @_@ I like collecting other people's personal belongings >.> Least favorite would also be the market board cause people expect me to pay ridiculous prices for trinkets.

None. I'd put Raubahn Aldynn but he's not really a City-State leader (GC leader only).

Moonbreeder! <3 Ahem.... I mean Moenbryda because her personality is wicked fun She even makes Urianger appear likable. Also, Yda & Papalymo combo is a good source of fun as well.

I LOOOATHE Alphinaud. UGH! Hope he dies a slow violent death graphically masterfully depicted for my own viewing pleasure. Him and his sister, who no one cares for to even remember her name, can sod off the planet.

Good King Moggle Mog XII count as a primal? If so, then I like him best cause: 1. Moogles 2. Music 3. Chaos. The rest are bores, downplayed in ARR to basic bitches being cocksmacked repeatedly in DF.

Can't really say which one I love in particular.... Ultros/Typhon are whimsical and fun I suppose. Hate anything with "Kraken" in it.

Character Info 1:

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?
His name is "Adam Fylrmyn". At one point I was engrossed by writing a plot that I actually pulled out one of the names in my character list and brought him to life! To this day, I still have no clue how I came up with the last name.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Hyur (Midlander). This one is an easy one. The name associated to the character was similar to that of the Hyur, so I went with Hyur. Originally, I went as a Lalafell because they looked cute, but I fantasia'd myself out of that death trap within an hour because I couldn't handle being short.

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
I have a lot of jobs, and my mains are spontaneous and unpredictable. One moment, I'll be maining a Bard, the next thing you know, I'm maining a White Mage. This is according to what my FC leader says, but I'd say that I'm a Scholar by heart.

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
I went with the Immortal Flames! Always have, and always will be a flame. I'd say that the Ul'dahn speech was the most convincing for me when we had to attend all three speeches during the main scenario.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
Shiny weapons and weapons that have a subtle glow kinda like the Allagan weapons from T5. There's just something about it that's.. mesmerizing.

What do you think your primary character's signature ability is? Why do you think that?
SACRED SOIL ALL DAY EVERYDAY. *Ahem* A lot of players I've met with usually complain about me throwing Sacred Soil here and there randomly. Personally, I don't think I do? I've always used it whenever I need to either waste a stack of Aetherflow or if there's a big AoE on its way, and I always use it in a way that everyone can benefit from it.

Is your primary character a part of a Free Company? If so, what is it? Why did you join that Free Company?
Yes, Calm of Cactuar. Y'know, the famous Starlights? Haha. I'd say that I've been with them for a long time ever since I've left a few FCs that I couldn't fit in with (timezones mainly). We literally only have 6 active members, but we're all good friends!

Character Info 2 (RP):

Where did your primary character come from? How do they feel about where they came from?
Adam hails from Fimary of Echt - a world separate than that of Eorzea. Fimary is just one of the major continents and houses the element affinity of Fire. Echt is the world itself and it bases itself on the belief of "true balance" overseen by people known as Observers who are regular people that are branded by the power of the Creator. Adam is one of them - but to be specific; He is the Observer of Time. Due to the fail-safe of the Eight Grand Nyxs being activated, he was forced to flee temporarily from Echt and (in this alternate timeline) ended up in Eorzea. He cares about Echt, because of what he went through, and so was branded an Observer to help protect the world he loves.

Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?
Yes and No. The "Fylr" was the reigning royal family in Fimary (and just an added info, men born into the royal family are given the last name Fylr-"myn", while the ladies are given the name Fylr-"hymr") until their untimely downfall due to an assassination of the entire family except for Adam, who had been abducted by slave traders from a young age, was spared the onslaught. Their relationships are iffy at best because of being abducted and brought to Wysnan (Continent of Water).

What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?
Eh, about the same as you see right now. The clothes that he wear are spontaneous as he is. But generally, he sticks to clothes that are easy to run around in.

What is your primary character's personality? What do they like? What do they dislike? What are they afraid of? What makes them happy? What makes them sad? What makes them angry?
Adam is a man without hatred. He was sold to the black markets of Lom'lorea (Lorea for short, and is the continent of Lightning) to be "experimented on" which resulted in them damaging his soul in the process. The mental trauma also affected him deeply. In which case, he has lost the ability to feel hatred which is kind of a good thing. He's a goof and also a generally happy-go-lucky kind of person (which is why I went with him as it kind of matches how I act irl).

Does your primary character have a backstory? Were there any interesting events in their past that led them to become the people they are today?
Oh wow, I think this question should have been the first or second in the list. Haha. But I've explained some of it in the questions above. The couple things I can really add is the fact that Adam himself does not know where he comes from, nor who his parents are even though he was branded an Observer. The other event would be the fail-safe activating that was mentioned earlier. The Eight Grand Nyxs are treasured as "gemstones" of power that reside in each of the eight continents which are Leboreau, Fimary, Iviore, Wysnan, Weathrow, Endaou, Lom'Lorea, and Doheim. Each of the Grand Nyxs bestow a special ability to those who attune to them such as the ability to walk on air. The fail-safe is when one person attunes to all eight of them which rips apart the balance of the elements and brings about the Equinox (which is impossible because a person can only attune to the elemental prowess he has been given on birth). Just as an added info again, people who don't have an elemental affinity are unable to harness the elements, and this generally makes them immune to the magic cast by those who can. Elemental affinity is affected by the parents and are similar to how genes are passed down to their children.

The Black Shroud has to be my favourite region. I just like the scenery and the nature (even though I'm not an outdoors kind of person). I don't have a least favourite per say, because I like them all. I'll be ignoring the least favourite portion from here on. xD

Limsa Lominsa. I just like it there. Maybe it's the way the place is styled? I have no idea.

Nanamo Ul Namo. She's soo tiny, and her voice is amazing! Plus I really like the whole "Royal"-look.

Shiba! Err.. I mean Shiva! I love her design and her fight. The developers seem to have poured a lot of work into creating all the aesthetics and beauty of the entire trial. I have to commend them for that as Shiva is now my current favourite primal.

Edda! Because I feel like playing Touhou when those big desolation AoEs pop up that fire in a straight line. The theme, Edda's animations, and Edda herself make the fight very interesting.

Music:

Shiva's second phase theme has to be my top favourite of them all. I just like how it sounds.

Shiva's second phase theme for the same reason above. I just like it.

I don't really know about this one, to be honest with you. If I had to pick one though, I guess it would be the theme you hear in the residential districts.

Definitely the Binding Coil of Bahamut boss themes!

Gameplay:

What graphical settings do you play with? Why is that?
PS4. I don't think you can even change the graphical settings much!

What sound settings do you play with? Why is that?
Not too sure, I reduced sound effects so I could hear the BGM more, but not too low that I couldn't hear the sound effects.

Do you play with a gamepad or with a Keyboard/Mouse? Why is that?
PS4 controllers, and a wireless keyboard and mouse. PS4 mainly. It just feels comfortable to use the controller.

The Future:

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
I'd like to see something not from the Final Fantasy series. Personally, I want to see a Job that bases on Tactician Mistel from Yggdra Union because of the cool scythe.

What region would you like to visit most in the world? Why?
Coerthas. It's soo mysterious!

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
I'd like to see a raid based on the Ascians (which we may or may probably not have as they are tied to the Main Scenario) where you'd have to fight and defeat each and every single one of them. I'd say that I picked this because the scene when they show you their base looked similar to Kingdom Heart's Organization XIII. xD

In all seriousness, I would love to see the Dragon's Den from FF6 be explored in FF14 someday as a raid where we fight all the elemental dragons.

What item or set of items would like most like to see in the game? Why?
I want a Scythe weapon. SE please make it happen! D:<
