Name: Shneibel Panipahr

The name Shneibel is by remove the "c" from Schneibel. and the idea is from Schneider. The last name is pre-made from the game itself because the other game doesn't required last name but this one does and I don't have any....nice save SE

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?

Race: Miqo'te, Keeper of the Moon
Why: Back in 1.0 the moon miqo'te have bigger boobs than the sun... :P . In 2.0 I remain moon miqo'te

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?

I am still waiting for Red Mage, main jobs was SMN, but I am now on the Ninja train

The Maelstrom, because I love Limsa Lominsa.

My trademark for my character is the red artisan glass. I pick that because it work nice with my character face & hair

Favourite : The Mist is my favourite, it have a beach, nice weather & long make short, nice area

2nd Favourite: Sagoli Dessert, at the right time & right weather, the sky is amazing with the stars, I know you can see it at other area, but in Sagoli Dessert, the surround area is nearly empty, it just your character, the sand & the sky (and some monster around or the zombie getting ready to eat your brain)

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?:

Aiden Weaver. I came up with this name because I had built a back story for my character about how he wanted to become rich through tailoring (hence Weaver). Aiden came from just sounding nice with the last name. I'm probably going to change my name now that the name change option is out.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?:

Keeper of the Moon. I like cats. Not much else to add!

What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?:

SMN/SCH. I like pet classes! I will admit, I was hoping for a *little* more flare to the summons, but I'm not quite as butthurt as some forum members.

The Maelstrom, because pirates! Plus the Adders are dirty hippies, and the Flames can't even keep order within Ul'dah, why would I want to side with a losing Grand Company?

Moogle weapons, kupo! I want moogle to be a playable race, this is close enough I guess.

Shadow Flare, because I like plopping it down on the Aetheryte in Limsa Lomensa.

I'm part of Sanctum! I joined it because I needed a calmer, more casual guild. I don't have the patience for end game BS, so it's nice to know I'm in a guild with a few people of similar minds, although a lot of them are starting to push ahead more than before.

Character Info 2 (RP): (Full disclaimer, I'm not a roleplayer, but I do like to think up an identity for my character)

Where did your primary character come from? How do they feel about where they came from?:

Aiden comes from a tribe of Keeper's of the Moon in Gridania. While he has nothing against Gridania itself, he is not pleased about his tribe.

Does your primary character have any family? Who are they? What is their relationship with your primary character?:

He has 1 mother, 4 brothers, and a twin sister (technically he has a father too, but his mother mated only with nomadic males, and never allowed them to stay longer than what she needed them for). His mother is Mata Ubo, and his brother's are Mata'a Ubo, Mata'to Ubo, Mata'li Ubo, and Mata'sae Ubo. Finally, his twin sister is Nozi Ubo. His relationship with his mother is strained at best, as she clearly always favored his twin sister, and his brother's had mostly found their own lives by the time he was old enough to form any meaningful bonds with them. While he does not have a bad relationship with his sister, he was never given the chance to form a bond with her either, as his mother made it clear that she was above him in life, and did what she could to keep them separated.

What does your primary character look like? Why do they look like they do? What kinds of clothing does your character wear? Why did your primary character pick those clothes?

Couldn't tell you his height! I forgot! I know it's somewhere near the upper area of the slider though! He has a scar on his face, from one of the few times he was able to see his sister (they ended up fighting, she kind of won,) and the traditional tattoos that many Keeper's have. His skin is a pale blue/gray. He likes to wear many things! As a SCH he's currently in his swim wear, while as a SMN he's going a bit more traditional with a Yukata and clogs. As a DRG he's preferring the traditional drachen armor, and as a NIN he's just taking what armor he can get for now. He has too many styles to give him any rhyme or reason!

What is your primary character's personality? What do they like? What do they dislike? What are they afraid of? What makes them happy? What makes them sad? What makes them angry?

He's overall a pretty cheerful guy. While his childhood wasn't exactly peachy, it wasn't bad either. He may have not been the favorite child, but he was still a child of the matriarch. People treated him with respect, and he generally received whatever he wanted. Other than running into his mother, he has no fears to really speak of. He loves spontaneous dance parties.

Does your primary character have a backstory? Were there any interesting events in their past that led them to become the people they are today?:

He changed his name because of the fact he was just his mother with a number after it. It made him feel like he was worthless, literally alive to only help his mother form bonds with other tribes through mating. When he made the choice to leave his tribe and become an adventurer, he changed his name too. He enjoyed the Hyur way of naming, every child had a name that was thought out and unique to them (mostly). In his tribe as a child he spent much of his time watching the women weave new clothes, and he had picked up some of their skills, and so he decided on his new trade.

I tend to spend most of my time in La Noscea, mostly because pirates. I hate Thanalan because I find it a pain in the ass to get out of most of the outposts.

I prefer just chilling in Limsa Lomesna, because I like how sanitary the city looks. Just nice and clean. I hate chilling in the housing areas, that stupid little flute noise during the day is so annoying.

Don't really have a favorite, I despise fighting in caves and halls though, camera becomes a worse enemy than the mobs.

Rowena's, because she has stuff that's actually useful. Have nowhere I dislike shopping, don't realy shop enough.

Y'shtola, because she tells Merylwyb off multiple times, and I love it. Least favorite is probably Urianger, because he is a pretentious turd.

My favorite is Merylwyb, because so far she is the most active of the three. The other two just kind of chill out and tell you to do things for them. My least favorite is probably Kan-e-Senna (sp?) because I hate obnoxious righteous types.

Good Kind Moggle Mog XII, because I love moogles! Least favorite is Ramuh. He's just kind of bland.

My favorite boss is probably Greg, his fight is just a fun callback fight. I wish they gave more incentive to run him. My least favorite is Everything EX and beyond. I just don't have the time or patience to beat them. Just trying to beat Garuda was a big enough time suck and pain in the ass that I gave up all together. Way too much reliance on other people to do their jobs.

Music:

The Pharos Sirius song is easily my favorite <3 Least favorite is the housing day theme. Hate it so much.

Good King Moggle Mog's. I just live the playful sound of the song, but the sinister lyrics of it that kind of show how strange it is to be fighting a bunch of moogles who are out for blood. Least favorite is probably the normal battle theme. It's kind of boring.

Can't really think of any that stick out in my mind as favorites. Again, hate the housing theme during the day.

Controller, I hate using keyboard and mouse in most games. Overtime it hurts my wrists more than just using a controller.

I want a magic based tank. I hate most melee classes, so if I coul pretend I was a close combat mage that would be nice.

I want Limsa Lomensa to turn into Alexander ala FFIX. 9 is by far my favorite. Maybe a raid where we fight Quina even, Lvl 5 Holy and Death? Frog Drop? All the other OP crap s/he learns? Could be fun.

I am back to be a sun-seeker miqote, however I also spent alot of time a highlander hyur. I changed back once the dreadlocks were made available.
What is the primary class/job of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
Monk, because while trialing the many phases of Beta I found this one to be the fastest paced and challenging. That said, I use Warrior and White mage alot too.

Maelstrom - because this feels the most Nordic/Celtic of the three.

I used to use the moogle mogfists but am using the default animus fists until I can get the newer version of them.

As a sneaky back-up tank, I have most warrior buffs at the ready as well as mantra to help the real tank get back on his feet.

Shes not from anywhere in particular. She has traveled around. Mostly lived in dusty hideouts until recent times.

No known family and no desire to find one. This would be too much burden at times like this.

Reebie looks like a tanned bandit who has been through many wars/battles. She (being miqote) does not bathe in water so has a very dirty/dusty face. She wears very little clothing and is proud to show herself off.

Well, this is refreshing! I'm going to post my answers then go over the others to see what they posted. This is rather long and I wonder how many people would be turned of this due to its length. And regarding the Players Poll's of 1.0 I would love to see another one return, even if it is just to gauge how things are going compared to 1.0

Character Info 1:

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?
My primary character is Zakarn Rosewood(Riskbreaker). Now, the reason for the two last names is the result of bad choices that are too lengthy to get into but once PayPal is re-instated I will be changing my name to the one I Should have picked in the first place, Rosewood. Zakarn is the name of one of the main characters in a series of novels I'm writing and has been my go-to name for a long time, it is a derivative of the initials I used to put in arcade games "ZAK" because it was short enough to fit. Rosewood is the middle and last name I would have given my kid if I had a girl (4 boys... sigh) my 1.0 character is Sephre Rosewood taking the first name of my would be daughter.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
I'm a Sea Wolf Roegadyn. I picked Roegadyn because I like to be able to see the detail in my armor (lala's are too tiny) and i thought it would have been funny to see a Roegadyn WHM. As an added bonus I am the rarest of the rare, a Male Roegadyn WAR.

My primary class/job is MRD/WAR. I normally pick the mage classes but i have a bad habit of charging in when i really shouldnt. I figured I would try tanking since they are the ones charging in head first and I have not regretted my choice, even though it was rough being a WAR at the release of 2.0

Which Grand Company is your primary character a part of? Why did you pick that?
I'm Gridanian, I've always been drawn to the forests and trees. Probably comes from living in that kind of environment.

What is your primary character's weapon glamour of choice (if applicable)? Why did you pick that?
Right now its the L'ciel Bardich because it goes well with the "White Knight" theme i have going on with my armor glamors and the unicorn I ride. I think it looks nifty in Frontlines.

Not sure what this means or how to answer but my signature move is to have the alt stance for the drawn weapon. I enter that pose as often as possible.

Right now i'm part of Shinra Inc. on Balmung. Started and run by family and RL friends.

These all change daily depending on my mood or what I'm looking to accomplish. I don't intentionally seek out a particular spot to play because I like the spot, I pick it for its utility.

Hildebrand is my favorite. He remindes me of a lot of the bumbling detectives i enjoyed growing up. Maxwell Smart, Inspector Gadget, Inspector Clouseau, etc. Least favorite is the Mail Moogle, that bitch never brings me anything!

Favorite is Merlwyb, I like her poise and authoritative tones as well as her compassion when it is needed. Least favorite, the Sultana. Does not have a commanding presence and Rahabaun seems more like he is in charge.

Papalymo but I preferred his voice from 1.0 I'm sure its the same guy who voiced the fox bomb guy from the Slayers series (Next or Try, cant remember which). Least favorite would be Thancred, he feels too stuck on himself and it kind of irks me.

Ifrit, He looks so demonic and I love when he talks plus fire is awesome! Ramauh is the least favorite mostly because I don't like how they did lightening magic in this game, just a personal preference. his battle still looks good though.

Ultros! The nod to FF3/6 is awesome and loved all the easter eggs with his lines. The fight was fun and I really want that minion! Least favorite is Demon Wall, I hated demon wall since my first encounter with one in FF2/4 (sorry for the / in the numbers, When i originally played them they had different numbers than their actual numbers)

Music:

Favorite Song Hands down is Answers. When that trailer released at midnight it was such a crazy powerful song, still listen to it! Can't think of a least favorite.

Ultros! Love how nothing was changed, very nostalgic! Least is the overworld battle music but i do still like the throwback riff that starts it off.

I like Costa Del Sol music, it reminds me of Chrono Cross for some reason. Don't really have a least, they are all pretty good.

Favorite boss theme is Titan, I love when the heart breaks and it ramps up! Least favorite is Moogle Mog music. would have enjoyed it more if the music was only from the moogles and changed as you killed them.

Gameplay:

What graphical settings do you play with? Why is that?
I play at max settings, gotta go all the way! Can't wait for DX11 client to come out, i'm a graphics whore...

What sound settings do you play with? Why is that?
Music low, background ambiance low, Sound Effects, medium, and voices high. I like to hear whats being said over all the other crap, the sound effects can get very repetitive and abrasive, more so when you have more people in the party.

Do you play with a gamepad or with a Keyboard/Mouse? Why is that?
I use the controller even though I play on my PC. I didnt think that a controller would really be viable for an MMO but they did so well with its setup that the only reason I have my mouse and keyboard nearby is to type to people or click out of windows when my queue pops. I tried playing Jak and Daxter the MMO (sorry, i think its officially called Wildstar?) and all I wanted to do was use the controller like i do in FFXIV, X-Padder is not even close. I don't think i could play another MMO without the same level of controller support. Much more relaxing to be able to fire up the game then sit back on the couch and play.

The Future:

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
I want to see more Magic Classes/Jobs, Red, Time, Blue mage but more than that, I want to see a class/job unique to FFXIV Aether Knight/Mage where the equipment has varying stages of crystalline enhancements. And have the roles kind of reversed, A tank Mage and a healer Melee.

What region would you like to visit most in the world? Why?
Well, its not in the world but I want to go to the moon! FFIV style!

If another Final Fantasy-inspired dungeon or raid were to come out, what would it be inspired by? Why would you pick that?
FFIX style dungeon where you are climbing Yggdrasil the Tree of life. Jumping will be necessary, you can fall to your death, hidden random chests with great loot that is way off the beaten path, branching paths to the top, and other fun stuff like that.

What item or set of items would like most like to see in the game? Why?
I want to see the Rat's Tail come back and do exactly what it did in FF1. Boost you from a regular job to an Advanced Job.

What is the name of your primary character? How did you come up with that name?
- Pascal Rosenthal. At the time, I was finishing up Tales of Graces f and loved Pascal's playstyle and her character. "Rosenthal" came from a military corporation in Armored Core 4/Answer.

What is the Race/Tribe of your primary character? Why did you pick that?
- I've changed Pascal's race multiple times (Midlander Hyur at the moment), but she started out as a Highlander Hyur. -Monk. I'm usually really lazy, but I like playing busy jobs because it keeps me on my toes. It's also why I prefer to play Warrior over Paladin.

-It'd have to be La Noscea simply because it's the nicest to look at. As for least, it'd be Black Shroud because of Sylphlands.

-I usually hang around the Mist, either at the beach or inside my FC room. It's nice and quiet, and watching the sunrise/sunset is beautiful there. Least favorite would have to be Mor Dhona. Don't like all the crystals everywhere and that weird fog.

-Carteneau Flats (Frontlines!). When it gets chaotic, that's when it's most fun. Least favorite would have to be Sunken Temple of Qarn, because the dungeon sucks.

-The Marketboard in front of our FC House. So close to home! I'd have to say Grindania is my least favorite, but that's because I'm rarely in Gridania.

-I play on PC and PS4. My PC can run the game with a few small hiccups on High settings. I find myself playing on PS4 more lately.

-Standard? I guess.

-Play strictly on Gamepad. I started FFXI on PS2 and even when I moved to PC i still used my trusty Dualshock 2. My use of controllers in PC games stem from that. I did mess around with keyboard in the alpha, but that's only because controller support wasn't implemented yet.

The Future:

What Class/Job would you most like to see in the game? Why?
-When I first started FFXI, I fell in love with Samurai. If it turns out to be a DPS in the future, I'm definitely gonna try it out. I'd love to see how a Red Mage would function in a game like this though.

What region would you like to visit most in the world? Why?
-An Eastern-type land. Never got to see one in FFXI, so I'm hoping to see one in the future of FFXIV!

Mordecai Bloodhoof. The first name is just a name I really like. I heard it while my brother was playing Fire Emblem and I've stuck with it since. Bloodhoof is a reference to World of Warcraft.

Roegadyn / Sea Wolf - Because I found this race to be the most attractive to me. Plus Roegadyn look amazing as Paladins.

Gladiator/Paladin. Because I thought the armour looked amazing... and I wanted to main tank.

And she's always looking for some good boots/shoes, those are hard to find.

And she continued to do just that during the times of 1.0, while her sister went out and adventured the world. Then her sister dis-appeared with the battle of bahamut, (ending of 1.0) after which, she decided to head off and become an adventurer to find out what happened to her sister (start of 2.0)

Best place to relax is anywhere where there's sun, a beach (optional) and good weather.

My favorite spot to fight is in any dungeon with good bgm
Least favorite is in any place where it's too busy.

Gunblades, and a whitemage robe set with a hood that can be popped up or down. Because that's what I feel is missing
