Ninja Skills a little bit too flashy

    Hey everyone,

I hope that this is the right sub-Forum.

Has anyone besides me the feeling that the Ninja-Skills are too flashy? When I play for more then 2 hour my head is starting to hurt. At first I dindn´t exactly knew where this came from, but after playing another class for a while, I realized that the Ninja-Skills are to blinky and flashy for me.

Is there any way to change their animation, especialy the mudras? It was getting on my nerves right from the start that they appear over the whole monitor but I think in addition to that I´m a little bit sensetiv to monitor-flashing.

Has anyone besides me had this problems?

I haven't even gotten to Ninja, but as soon as I started leveling Rogue, I needed to change my effects settings. For all other classes, I was fine with "Show All" for myself, "Show Limited" for party members, and "Show None" for everyone else. As soon as I started playing Rogue, however, I needed to turn off that "Show All" for myself, as Rogue's "Show Limited" is roughly equal to other classes' "Show All".

Weird how they decided adding a stealth-based class was a good opportunity to ratchet up all the bright flashing lights effects.

I too am very sensitive to sudden bright flashes and wish they would tune down some of the effects (its kind of a bummer playing with battle affects off..) . I play with all battle effects off because most of the battle effects for all jobs are too much and leave me squinting and kind of agitated.

I think it would help if we could some how adjust the intensity of the bloom effects that accompany actions/attacks.

Thanks, at least it isn´t only me.

I will try to limit the effects like Niwashi stated. For everything besides me and the monsters I allready do that anyway.
