    I am of the opinion that the auto attack speed is just fine. I would hope that they will consider more variety of ability animation cancels. I find that battle duration is a bit too low (battles are too short) for a lot of abilities, actions, and classes to realize their full potential.

    I would say though playing a lower level MRD is quite wierd/odd. At higher levels i'm pretty busy launching other normal strikes, buffing, debuffing and activating abilities left and right, but that's because i have a lot of abilities at my disposal. I can see if you were playing a lower level class you would be at a dirth of shit to do.

    Personally I'd rather it be like XI where one animation would over-ride the other instead of waiting for one to end to start the next.

    Thing is, with a higher delay, it gives haste more precedence over almost everything, like it did in XI. It just simply is much more attractive. Haste was capped at 25% for the longest time from gear in XI, then you could increase it even further through spells and songs. The higher the delay with the higher reduction = OP, hence the zerg fest. If you have an already low CD and you stack that much haste, it isn't as great as it being reduced from a much higher delay. This is assuming that longer delay weapons attack harder, which is the case.

    Of course SE could block the mistake XI did and cap haste at something low like 10% in this game, but then it becomes a question of why even use it? I guess I shouldn't speculate too much about haste though, who knows, it could work completely different then what XI players are used to.

    XI haste increased exponentially the more you stacked it. That made it OP. Nothing else.

    They simply need to make it linear increase instead and it will work.

    I like games with great animations sure, but I like games with responsive and tight controls more so!

    If we're going to have to wait on animations, at least extend the amount of time we need to react to things like interupts or evade/parry/block activated abilities. Nothing sucks worse than missing a critical move because your character is still executing that fancy maneuver when the monster decides to explode.

    I'd rather they just overlap... or the auto attack animation cancel the skill animation, and skill animation cancel the auto attack animation. Speeding up skill and ability animations at the same time would be awesome.
