Eorzea's Next Top Model - Cycle 3 Round 2

So excited to be able to vote now~
First of all I want to say everyone's cosplay choices were amazing! Wish I could pick more than 4 of each! ;____; And also in no way do I know what I'm talking about with lighting and such, I'm just talking about how I see the picture as appealing~

First the women: (not in any particular order!)
1. Lowena Fae: This was a beautiful shot ^-^ The flower on the wrist was a nice touch and the setting gave an extra umph to who the character is~
2. Rhaya Relenah: The way you angled the shot was perfect~ I really like how you put the other person so close to the camera to make your character look so small. The mushrooms were also a nice touch :3
3. Miki Hoshi: I really love how your fist is the focus of the shot, it draws the attention right to you
4. Xev Bellwyn: Although you're not the only character in the picture, my eyes immediately draw to you (I'm not quiet sure why this is, the contrast of colors maybe?) but I love it~

Guys turn~: (again not in any specific order)
1. L'yhan Nunh: I really loved the setting for this shot, it was the perfect time of day with great colors :3 I also liked the ship in the background, it also covered the sun a bit, which i liked as well (My eyes normally focus on bright colors so I'm glad I wasn't distracted XD).
2. Marik Destiel: This is a wonderful shot! I love how the lighting reflects off of your skin in a way that makes it look kind of dirty (kind of like the face paint). I like how the shadows also give a dark feel to the shot, but the light on the grass helps contrast that a bit.
3. Fate Lhas: I'm a fan of night shots, and I really think this atmosphere works for the character you went with. It's hard working with this area at night, because of the purple and blue haze it gives, but I think that you worked that to your benefit :3
4. Sienna Moonlux: I like the environment you picked for this shot, I also like that you used umbrel ice to contribute to the theme :3 although the lighting is a little low, I think it works well for the look you were going for ^-^

Women's Round:
1) Rhaya Relenah as Smurfette (One of the most easily recognizable, the light that hits your dress and the mushrooms is fantastic!)*
2) Sangriah V’ (Seven-of-Nine! The contrast is wonderful.)
3) Miki Hoshi as Tifa (The use of the background and pose was great!)
4) Iris Dawnshade as Link (You're so adorable that I want to Moenbryda-hug you and squeeze you!)

Men's Round:
1) Epsil Ion as Irvine (Absolutely amazing. Very easy to recognize who you were!)
2) Flare Raulbel as Mad Hatter (Such a well-composed piece! Excellent use of perspective!)
3) Marik Destiel as Daryl (Major points for looking as gritty and filthy as you do! The only thing I was missing was a zombie!)
4) Aiden Weaver as Tina Belcher (I was laughing so much!)

Critiques for the remaining (I'm gonna try and not be too critical this time >x> )

5. Adeline Urusa: Very nice costume and use of extras. It's an overall cute picture and idea. However, if the name below didn't say you were Garnet, I would have thought you were the Lala playing Eiko, she is outshining you! D:
6. Sakuraya Kai': Nice costume, scenery, pose, and us of extra. My only critiques is that compared to the 5 above you, this one is a little dull. Maybe a little more interaction with your extra? (Not too much though).
7. Miki Hoshi: Nice pose and expression. And I can tell who you're dress as. However, for a more dynamic picture, I think you shouldn't have been so centered and straight-forward with the camera. Also, I know the judges love the extra lighting from the Sun minion but I think it's a little too harsh in this picture.
8. Sangriah V': I haven't seen that many episodes of Star Trek to know this character but judging by the pictures I found on google, your costume seems sound (maybe you could have gone for a more honey-colored hair, but that's nit-picking). Your pose and expression are interesting but the picture is kind of boring... >x>()
9. Overlord Rikkuustrife: Great cosplay and use of skin, However, you aren't doing anything! D: The outfit is wearing you when you should be wearing the outfit.
10. Eirwen Mackenzie: I'm sorry Eirwen but were outshined by Xev here. If I didn't see the name at the bottom, I would have thought you were Laura Craft. D: Still, nice body angles.
11. Iris Dawnshard: A very cute cosplay (although I see it a lot on Lalas). I only wish we were closer to you and that you weren't so centered in this picture. As it is, it looks like just a screenshot to me. D:

5. Ronin Woofcub: Nice use of class skills and expression. My only critique is that I wish we had better lighting on you, you're kind of fading into the background a little, and that you weren't so centered.
6. Sienna Moonlux: Nice angles and use of class skills. Your costume is a smidge off with hair color though. Also, I think this is a lost opportunity, not using a Blizzard spell. Blizzard II and Freeze can both be used freely, without the need of a target.
7. Marik Destiel: Your posing is nice and your outfit is as IRL as we can get in this game but I can't help but feel that this was a wasted opportunity for a more bleaker and/or darker setting. Maybe a more darker place in the forest would have been better?
8. Adam Fylrmyn: You're outfit is okay but your hair doesn't do the character justice (pun intended). The lighting is nice and you are doing the character iconic pose, however, this picture is a bit boring compared to the others above it. Some humor from the series this is from might have helped it.
9. Aiden Weaver: I'm sorry but I can't tell what is going on here and I love Bob's Burgers. D: I guess your costume is as good as it could get, without being able to get a shorter skirt. And your lighting is antiquity... >A>()
10. Jinx Fireboot: I'm sorry but you're blending way too much into the background in this picture. D:

I know I say that people are "too centered" in pictures a lot but asymmetry is always a great way to make a picture more dynamic and to make the eye dance.

Women:

• Sakyraya Kai (Yda): Most accurate IMO...except for the ears
• Lowena Fae (Posion Ivy): Ears again, but 100% accurate otherwise
• Miki Hoshi (Tifa Lockheart): Accurate except the ears
• Overlord Riitsuke (Mystyque): As she is a shapeshifter the ears actually could make sense

Men:

• Epsil Ion (Irvine Kress): Most accuarate IMO, and unlike Lightning or Snow the outfit was made from scratch!
• Fate Lahs (Nightcrawer): Elezen would had been better for the ears but I digress
• Aiden Weaver (Tina Belcher): Having limited knowedge of Bob's Burfurs, i still find this hilarious
• Marik Desteel (Daryl Dixon): I have no comment other then... it's accurate

Inaccuracies I noticed that lead to me not picking the following:

• Adam: OBJECTION! Phoenix isn't Blonde!
• Adeline: On the one hand, I haven't played IX so I don;t know how tall the characters are. On the other hand I know enought to point out that the hair and height is closer to Eiko's
• Sangriah: You do know Silver dye exists right? (not that like the above poster I haven't seen Star Trek that often)

Honorable mentions would be Iris, Rhaya, L'yahn, Eirwen, Jynx, Adeline and Flare. And yes I'm aware that my votes went mostly to Mi'quotes

I know, but at the time I thought we couldn't use the Aesthetician (nor Fantasias) unless specified otherwise as it was mentioned somewhere in the previous cycles. In which case, by the time I remembered to ask, it was too late to change my submission. xD

Do you mean Adeline's hair and height are closer to Eikos? um... I don't see that. Eiko is short. Adeline is the Miqo'te. The Lalafel is indeed meant to be Eiko.

Jk, but yeah Garnet (who I'm trying to portray) is a 16 year old girl, while Eiko is the little 6 year old girl with purple hair. Saddens me though you don't know much about FFIX. It's an awesome game and actually got me into the FF series. I guess what I was trying to portray in my pic was the ideal of a happy family, as that was the vibe I got when Zidane/Garnet/Eiko/Vivi were together C:
