We need this.
We need this.
I want this so badly.
:45 just seems unreasonably quick.
If you're playing on a separate Job & in Sapsa it's nearly impossible to get out of combat in time to switch & accept.
You can't tell me we're expected to sit around & do nothing or only do X & Y while we wait through hour-long queues.
As someone mentioned, sometimes a load screen can even be too much.
no matter what how much time you get, it will never work, there will always be someone for whom it doesnt work. 40 secs are more then enough, you are doing something you take your chances, you click ok when it pops and start over when you come back. Why would you do a complicated craft when you have registered ? why would you start a long fight when you have registered ?? there are no reasons, or you assume the consequences.
And before you say anything, yes I put into effect what I preech.

45 seconds is way too quick, 60 seconds is on the short side. 90 seconds would be normal and acceptable. 120 seconds is what this needs to be. Sometimes you are in the middle of something - and it also can take a while to zone in if you happen just to teleport into Mor Dhona, like, A VERY LONG WHILE. I rather not get hit by "withdrawal" penalty if one of my party members happen to just hit teleport while the notification is up, and it takes him/her more than 45 seconds to zone in and change jobs.

I love this idea and all of the others mentioned. I waited 85 minutes for dungeon on nin for relic book (I have always hated books way more than atma farming). After about 45 minutes, I forgot that I was even queued. Was crafting and gathering. Got thirsty and hungry. Came back and duty popped. I was like "Oh, crap!"
I wish it would save your position in que if you dc, nothing worse than 40mins+ waiting followed by a dc![]()
Won't that just mean the entire queue would be held up by one person who would be too slow to disconnect/reconnect (goodness knows how long the game takes to actually say someone is offline)? It'd be faster for the system to find a replacement.
SE response please?
