Accuracy on Relics = Pointless on 2.4?

I was a firm believer that accuracy on the relic would be a surefire way to keep my accuracy count high for future content, but with the new Ironworks gear increasing access way more, I'm starting to reconsider remelding my relic to Determination/Parry.

    What do you think?

I'm not basing this on a BiS theory, so I'm not considering FCoB gear, but ilv20 gear we will generally all obtain in 3 weeks, if we cap poetics every week.

Acc cap with all Ironworks + Noct Ring: 535 w/o food

If you're not including FCoB gear (or basing the set on actually doing FCoB) then accuracy and other secondaries aren't really going to matter anyways.

i120 gear takes way long then 3 weeks:

    910 Sword
    390 Shield
    825 Body,Legs
    375 Belt,Ring,Wrist,Neck,Earring
    495 Hands,Feet,Head

    14 Weeks to cap.

But if you aren't doing FCoB then you probably won't ever need the Acc. People doing FCoB are making use of the Acc for sure. (t13 is 558acc)

Accuracy has never been an issue outside of Coil and likely never will be.

This isn't true, the EX primals have been at coil-level accuracy. Shiva is ~T9's accuracy, for example.

I've been sitting ~495ACC since ST came out, and never noticed a miss until I got to the Ultros Fight. Though even then I'm not 100% it's miss or if it's lag... I've tanked both Ultros & Typhon and noticed this. Namely because I couldn't get combos off all the time.

Its good to have coil and off-coil gear setup with less acc, also you can and imo should use food that has dps stats and no acc unless you need acc ofc.

Accuracy is never pointless on relics. Secondary stats are so ineffectual compared to main stats that they may as well not even exist. In fact, a maximally optimized Nexus weapon's secondary stats will only contribute to about 2% of the damage your weapon slot is providing. If you replace one of those stats with Accuracy, you're shaving off less than 1% of the weapon's overall damage. This will make you do approximately 0.65-0.70% less damage overall at the very worst. The ratios aren't nearly this small on other slots because of the importance of Weapon Damage, so the conclusion here is that your weapon is the place where it hurts your DPS the least to have secondary stats which do not contribute to damage.
