Unable to Target at strange intervals

Hi,

After the last update I noticed that the ability to target anything other myself is taken away.

It doesn't happen all the time but from the last Leve Quests I did it was more like:

Kill 2 dodos... wait 5-10 minutes because they could not be targeted. Kill another 2 and wait 5 more minutes to be able to target the next.

made the Leves last very very long. I use a gamepad but noticed the tab button wasn't working either.

Any clue on how to fix this?

I've noticed that if you have nothing selected, sometimes you have to select yourself before selecting something else.

Thanks for the reply. Sadly I tried everything short of a macro.

Tried casting cure on me so the game knows I am here. Tried equipping different weapons. Whatever I could ingame that I thought would have helped.

Did you check to see if you may have changed the target filter setting which is new to "Enemy" only causing you to be unable to target yourself. It is controlled by the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard and d-pad up and down on a controller I believe, whenever the active bar is not visible. It has a very small widget that you may not have even noticed appearing after patch 1.16.

Thanks very much. It looks like this was exactly what was going on. Really a neat update once you get use to what it says you can icon to the bottom right. Once I got this understood the leves were no issues at all.
