Connection issues.

Hello, i'm getting some very strange connection problems.
When i'm around a crowd of people or in a dungeon (4 or 8 player) my party mates and the monsters will randomly skip around as if I was lagging.
Its very strange because my skills activate normally but everyone around me are moving in a way that makes me think i'm lagging.

(Note: Its not a FPS issue since I'm running at 60FPS atm.)

At first I thought maybe it was my ISP, I even did a ping test but it always gives me an average ping of about 38->41ms.

I'm not sure what to do, it just recently started happening and i'm hoping it's not on my end.

Can i ask if in a dungeon, you can move as per normal but everyone around you has 'froze' for about 2-3 seconds and then they would have moved to another position? Cuz your problem sounds similar to mine.

I have been having this issue for the past week since Patch 2.4.

My ISP says its nothing wrong, my ping is 70ms.

Yeah your case sounds like me.

I did notice there are times when everything will completely freeze. Monster, Players, NPcs, everything, and then after a long freeze everything.
When I do a ping test during the freeze, it says i'm ok
It happens in dungeons but I noticed it can happen outside dungeons if there are a lot of players around.

Exactly the thing which happens to me. My zone is GMT+3, I come home at my ~19-20 p.m., so would be just around 17 p.m. for most of the Europe, and it's absolutly impossible to play. Goog old LAII freezes. Freezes (could last up to 10 seconds) everywhere - dungeons and open world both. I thought problem was on my side, but no, unblocked FPS rises up to 150, ping is around 60 ms, in other games there are no lags and freezes at all. Problem came several days after 2.4 had been released. I truly hope the issue will be fixed, cause in current state the game is unplayable.

ive had the same connectivity issue as of late, they started happening about 3 to 4 days after 2.4 dropped. ive played this game since day one and well this is the first time ive had so many connection issues. ive checked with my internet provider and everything seems fine on their end. if anyone can shed some light or figures out something that would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue been playing from Beta 2010 without any lag issue like most people had back then. Now soon 2.4 hit i get lag but it's only around 7pm-11pm Est. So my guess is there just way to many players so it lags only handful of us.

I'm a PS3 player and same issue... Players and mobs will freeze for 5-10 seconds then skip around, especially in dungeons. This all started a few days after 2.4 ... I checked with my provider and everything and all seems good on my end. My roommate plays on a PS3 as well and on the same sever as I (Cactuar), she is having no issue... This is really bumming me out =\

So it seems to be my connection with Cactuar =\ I have an Alt on Brynhildr and I am having no lag issue on there...

for me the problems first started the last few days with getting heavy latency (around 4-6k), and today i cannot even log in now due to 10105 error. This is on both Balmung wich i normally play on and the European servers (wich i SHOULD be playing on i guess)

Can I check for everyone having this issue since Patch 2.4, what servers are you on?

I am on the Japan server, in Tiamat, it seems that only I am having this problem. My friends and people in the FC do not have this issue, even when they are doing duty with me.
