Final Coil Turn 2 (Turn11) help? (BLM)

Okay so this fight isn't BLM friendly like, at all. I have subtle positioning errors -- all of which aren't my fault -- and I suffer during the Add phase.

Is there any golden location for a BLM to stand for the first 2 phases? (Opening, barofield phases) I've tried standing on the clip of Kaliya's Resonance, but thanks to odd tank swapping, finding this clip is no longer safe.
For add phase, where should I exactly be to get the most amount of up-time casting on the cube? Should I save a Pot for this phase? My Raging will arrive slightly before Add phase so should I raging+pots on the Cube? Then comes the issue of Aggro-thieving.

    tl;dr
    Any tips would be appreciated.

Can you just try to figure things out by yourself for once? You have asked for help for so many fights, and it is about time you learned how to play your class and how to adapt to different situations.

Stop assuming ("for once" "about time") and attempting to pick a fight. What's the harm with asking for help? The large quantity of players has learned their rotation from others whether it be from videos or forums. I don't see the issue with trying to max out my abilities in each fight. Reading my post, I did notice I placed too many questions and a few I can remedy through trial and error, (the offensive cooldowns), but to insinuate that I don't know my class is insultive. (isn't like I'm stuck on fucking T5. 11 =/= 5)

If you aren't interested in helping, then mind your own and keep your insults to yourself. I still have to take the advice, practice and apply it, which isn't nearly as cut and paste as you believe.

Edit: no matter what, I'll still need experience and will still need to adjust to my statics tactics. A tip isn't going to increase my ability 10x :P

Don't worry, it seems this fight becomes good for BLM once you learn the tricks of minimizing the moment. I've only just started learning the fight but what I've gathered so far is:

    - Stand on the borderline of the nerve gas conals between the group and the tanks. Move to the side that's already been targeted when convenient. You can't get cleaved by the boss during these attacks. This means you should only move like an inch or two for the entire nerve gas rotation.

    - Using Aetherial Manipulation when you have the Seed of the Sea might be useful.

    - Not sure if this is full-proof but actually using Manaward and eating one of the Nerve gas conals while casting. You get the 1 minute vulnerability debuff, but it doesn't seem to do much harm? (especially before barofield comes up)

    - For the adds phase, position yourself around the egg at the start so that the cube comes towards you (less movement), it seems you can still have the add's cleave avoid you by being close to the middle.

Coincidently, there was a T11 BLM PoV released just recently if you want a visual guide for positions:

I just got to T11 and it does look like my BLM will not be of much use. I have only 30 min experience in the fight so I can't help you out too much. The only thing I guess I've learnt is to all stack up behind the boss in the middle of him so you minimalize the distance you have to run and use procs when available. Have yet to see the add phase but have seen a SMN video. You don't necessarily have to move with the target or do you? I mean, yes, in time you'll have to move around because it will be out of range. But it seems to me like you can nuke it fairly well while standing still ... I'll have to find out for myself. If BLM doesn't work out, I'll probably go SMN on that fight. Don't think I'll be able to get to 406-10 DPS like on T10 and it's also a race so ... I guess we'll have to see

    1. depends on melee positions, BLM usually take position in 5/6/7 o'clock and might be irrelevant if ur healers can heal through the seed of sea and river with people didn't spread.

    2. for cube, u will need to be positioned between OT and the egg ADS, and yes u need to pop all cds, pots, whatever it needs be on 25% ball ADS

After he does Second Head (the tank swap mechanic) wait a couple seconds and precast sprint. That'll always be right before nerve gas. If you get a lucky proc you can get through a nerve gas without losing any cast time.
If raging is up for adds then quelling should be as well. I've had a few aggro issues there as well, though, so just watch your bars and if you absolutely need to then throw a couple of moves at the other add.
