    Ninja Relic issue

    Seriously, SE? You did such a good job designing the rogue/ninja story line, and such a good job designing the classes, and you overlook a really basic detail in designing the relic. The tassels on the hilts are unaffected by gravity. They look awesome sheathed, but once drawn it just looks silly. This should be a pretty easy fix...so please do so!

    Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed after getting the relic, too. It's just collecting dust for me at the moment because the UAT weapons are better until I get around to upgrading them, if ever.

    If they were to 'fix it' then they'd be the only weapon that has something like that. Yes, there are animated weapons, but it's a fixed animation. A blade unfolds, a flower opens, a lunchbox expands, but that's the extent of their animation. They don't have a constant, physics impacted animation. So the Ninja relic has tassels that don't move, that's a pretty minor thing that would have a reaching impact if addressed.

    What sort of reaching impact would that be?

    If they're refusing to animate them, they can just remove them altogether and it'll still look better.

    The ninja relic isn't the only weapon with bits and pieces that look like they should animate randomly. Gea Bolg has this red pipe, strap, thing on it that, in production art, isn't so stiff in inflexible. And it's not just weapons, there's a fair bit of armor that has ribbons and skirts that animate stiffly, if at all, only because of heavy wind effects and walking. You apply finer animation to one thing then you have to do it for everything. It's this thinking that's kept Summoners from getting more summons until Heavensward.

    While I understand the gripe people have with these glamour related problems and I do empathize with them I honestly believe it would be a waste of the Dev's time to do something like this. I have no idea how complex it would be to fix and maybe it would be a simple fix but if it ended up causing some small bug in the coding down the line I wouldn't say that's worth it.

    To me, I'm spending my time playing the game doing things (raiding, questing, gathering, crafting, etc.) so something like that goes really unnoticed. Sure, if I sat there and stared at it I might be like, "Lol that's just silly." But when I'm mid raid, I'm concentrating on all sorts of mechanics and what not. I don't have time nor do I even think about what my character looks like.

    removing the tassels would be "a" fix. They would still look cool. As it is they look unfinished
