Philosophical Question: Are Lalafell Short? Or we are just taller?

So yeah... I been mocking lalafall height ever since they are call Tarutaru in FFXI.

Suddenly it struck me. Are they really short? Or we are just taller.

Maybe they are neither short nor we are taller, just that we did a wrong comparison. Like comparing an Apple and Orange.

It's subjective. For us, they're short, and for them we're tall. Those things always depend on who is doing the comparison and against what he is comparing it. It would be like comparing a diplodocus with a salamander, they both have (or had) the size that they need, and we see them as huge or small because we compare them with us.

Yea, this. Though everything seems to be Hyur sized and Lalafells tend to be standing on stools (there's even a housing item), I'd say we are small moreso than you are large.

Short. It's not subjective. In Eorzea, nothing is their size. I wonder how they even manage to reach the door handles....
