yes something was mentioned, by SE in one of the live letters not sure which one. but i guess they like the idea to continue to get more money out of it.
I just want a small shade of skin like the other mentioned, a different tan level, or at least give us more customization options.

This should be an option because it is hard to see how the skin will look in game. It is a big gripe of my friend. To get around this she just makes new characters to try preview it but it gets to be a pain

very true, the skin colors in char creation is not identical to the true color, also you can't try any of the outfits in the character creation, and it does actually matter, some outfits look terrible with certain skin colors, for intance any pure white with white skin is actually bad. this is just an example but i know it only by trying it with fantasia.

Shouldn't have to fantasia to change skin color or eye color for that matter. Why can we change hair color then? It's a simple color change. And personally, I would like for any fantasia to have a time allowance before it becomes permanent (say 8 to 24 hours). I should be able to use a fantasia, try some ideas, look and see how they feel in world and then if I don't like it be able to change it before that time allowance runs out.

Au Ra can change their scales and limbal rings at the Aesthetician. I'd say that logically those are two traits that a character is born with just like skin and eye color. So, if it somehow makes sense for us to change these aspects of our appearance, why not allow us to change skin color and eye color? Changing skin color can be described as anything from getting a bit of sun to using body paint (we have face paint, nothing says that it can't be used on body as well). As far as eye color: Alchemy is in the game and eye color changing drops could easily be explained lore-wise as a result. Personally, I'd be for "Limited" skin color change (like, limited to the row of your current skin color since those are generally darker or lighter versions of the same hue) and leaving eye color locked out, BUT these requests can easily be accommodated from a lore perspective and so I see no reason to oppose the request if it has support as a result.

Guys, guys... there's a simple solution to all of this. Raise the Mog Shop price of the Fantasia 2x or 3x higher.
