Navigator <Nav> recruiting for general frivolity (and some raid teams)

Choosing an FC is a weird thing, and I'm finding advertising for one is even weirder.

What I can tell you is that I really would love for you to join if you're a player that identifies with any of these words: helpful, relaxed, goofy, dedicated, diligent, effective, adaptable.

We've got raid teams (with open slots), we've got a site (http://NavigatorXIV.com), TS, house, rank 8, stables, fruits, all that. We've also got a welcoming group, people I'm proud to play with. We clear content at our own pace, helping people along when we can. We've got all levels, and many play styles represented. If you're looking for hardcore, that's not us, but if you're looking for fun and effective, you might like our crew!

Thanks in part to the warm responses we've received via this posting, we've now filled out another raid team! We're now looking for members interested in forming another (with support and overlap from the existing teams while it fills up).

Our main objective in team formation is adaptability. This allows us to make quick substitutions where necessary on raid nights. The team for that night does its best to show up, but where necessary, having other teams on similar content allows people to take nights off without harming progress. Having multiple geared jobs is common in our ranks, and widely encouraged!

Catch-up days are also scheduled, of course!

Wow, what a whirlwind of a few months it's been!

Navigator has grown to a size where we have tons of participation options, and yet it's still small enough that nobody feels left out (I hope!).

I'm actually quite surprised by how many applicants we've gotten as a result of this thread, and nearly all of them have been really great additions to the team. That can only mean one thing - if you're reading this post, you must be awesome! If so, please feel free to apply! We're looking for raiders at the moment - the sorts of people who own their mistakes, and never hold the mistakes of others against them. We don't carry people, we work together to learn content.

Roles needed are somewhat open-ended, though it looks like healers are in short supply at the moment.

Raiders: We need people for Sundays at 9:30pm EST, or Saturdays at 2pm EST. We've got groups working through Final Coil, and are willing to help any potential applicants make their way up.

Roles are flexible!
