Vanity Patch Needed! & Unique armor sets!

While clones may not be prevalent as other MMO's I do still see lots of people with same hairstyles, and with the sheer number of miqo'te running around I have seen quite a few that look nearly the same at a glance. Irregardless of this however, I'm sure community as a whole love to have a minor update (X.X5/X.X8) dedicate to vanity and character editing.

This I would love to see myself.. Would be a good time to just release everything to players with the coming expansion on the horizon.

Racial AF Gear

BLOODY HELL NO!!!!

We do not need a repeat of Final Fantasy XI's Race-Specific Equipment. Those things were bloody difficult to get, and weren't worth much more than glamour looks. About the only set of the lot that was even worth getting was the level 27-33 set which was best in slot for that level range and several levels afterwards. But the rest of the gear at higher levels were primarily novelty items, and that game didn't have a glamour system.

We really don't need RSE in this game. If you want to glamour the Racial Armor in this game, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from doing so, and it looks just as nice glamoured onto an End Game item as it would if it were actually the end game armor. We don't really need the hassle that would be entailed by adding a feature that really serves no purpose.

My advice is asking the developers to add a quest that allows us to "Augment" the Starting Racial Armor the same way we can Augment the Artifact Armor. That way we can dye the Starting Racial Armor to different color schemes. That would basically solve the problem of all the Racial Armor looking the same within one race.

You're right, vanity options are a waste of time, from now on all updates should be nothing but more coil like raids, and ex primal trials. Everything else in the game is detracting from that. /sarcasm

I just want there to be options between flashy end-game stuff and boring/drab leveling gear. The starting gear is a good example of the style of vanity pieces I'd like to see more of.

I'd like to see the major city states (current and future) offer reputation dailies that unlock vanity items in the style of the cities (but not associated with Grand Companies). That's something I'd log in every day for.
