Vanity Patch Needed! & Unique armor sets!

As the title Says, I would love to see a small overhaul patch of hairstyles, tattoos, makeup, etc.. Seeing "Originality" is pretty much slowly being throw out, it would be best to give all current styles to all races and any future additions as well. So instead of one race getting something that's actually new and everyone else gets copies from the last patch and beyond (and then calling those new??? lol)

Also I would love to see more Unique Armor sets added to the game. Like for example Racial Geared sets (Crafted Racial Gear would definitely work for a game like this). I am the only person who thinks it's odd that the most Unique Armor set in the game is the one you start with?



And wouldn't be cool SE took this same concept with the starting gear, and applied it to artifact armor? (Racial AF Gear or unique end game, chance to experiment and step outside the box maybe?) And yes I realize it sounds like a lot of work but this would be REALLY cool if it would happen.. its just a thought lol

Seeing only one new hairstyle per race every other patch isn't exactly thrilling, and giving another races hairstyle to other races between those patches even less so.

Would also love to see more race specific gear

I would love to see more vanity accessories like earrings since new looks for them are never part of the new gear sets we get, just recycled visuals.

Also being able to dye the racial/starter gear as well as more racial clothing gear would be awesome.

If they added this it would just be gated behind four star crafting or be dungeon drops competing with crafting mats on the loot table. It won't matter how much they add if they keep gating vanity, people aren't going to be able to get what they want to create a more unique look.

I disagree completely with the notion that there are many "clones" walking around this game. Coming from other MMO's where you simply choose your face and your hairstyle aka FFXI, WoW, Swtor etc.One of the main things that attracted me to this game was the fact that I could actually remember people on my server by their unique looks. I've never met my twin and it is easy for me to remember all the friends I've met over the months by remembering their characters unique appearances. With every patch they add new hairstyles and increase the amount of armors in the game which ultimately leads to even more possibilities for glamours. Also, with the addition of new dyes and allowing older items to be dyeable increases the amount of unique looks we can create for ourselves.

To be honest the only clones I see running around this game are the annoyingly unoriginal miqote or hyur girls who run around in bikinis and long hair with absolutely no originality as they do not use some of the cool looking armor sets available.
However that being said, I love the idea of race specific gear. In a game where you have different races, it is nice to have unique items/hairstyles/facial features pertaining to each race so they may remain unique. I think that is where this game is lacking ATM, many races aren't looking unique enough from one another. However, they aren't clones either. I understand the concern that the OP has that every time a new hairstyle is released for a particular race, it is then made available to all the other races the following patch. Perhaps this should change in the future and do what they did first patch where they make a few new general hairstyles available to everyone and create unique hairstyles for each race and simply keep it available only to them.

While clones may not be prevalent as other MMO's I do still see lots of people with same hairstyles, and with the sheer number of miqo'te running around I have seen quite a few that look nearly the same at a glance. Irregardless of this however, I'm sure community as a whole love to have a minor update (X.X5/X.X8) dedicate to vanity and character editing.
