Vanity Patch Needed! & Unique armor sets!

I think they should add more mid level recipes and mid level gear for the mid level characters to make them more unique along the way not just after reaching level 50. I hated all those brown outfits we kept getting up to the mid 20s. More uniquely colored outfits please. And way more hairstyles.

I'd love a vanity patch with hair and clothes galore, but please, never again race locked items. Just imagine if the hempen set were several different items instead of looking different for each race. Such a small thing would already add a whole bunch of glamour options! And the race sets... *wistful sigh* The more options available, the greater amount of originality you'll see. There'll never be true originality, because we all have a set base to work from, but at least options widen the possibilities.

Hairstyle options are severely lacking, and I don't see the point in the "leapfrog" system currently used. Some argue it's to draw people to the lesser chosen races, but since all races get hairstyles one after another, and we're now at the more popular ones, and it just seems off. Not that I'd want the more popular races to always be one patch late on getting hairstyles either! *says the Miqo'te* I'd much prefer it if hairstyles were unlocked for all at the same time, and it would thrill me to see a vanity patch where a bit more resources was spent on such things!

Ture, the current system for hairstyles etc.. just isn't working seeing that eventually were all going to have the same styles anyway and Originality is being phased out (Example: Taking an armor set design and giving it a different coat of paint xD lol)

1) We're tired of going to More Spamma and finding that everyone looks alike, and

2) None of the other races need armor on their tails.

I could not agree with this more. That's why I'm for the idea of there being craftable versions of the starting gear that isn't race specific.

Crafting isn't the only way to implement this but it is the easiest as long as SE doesn't make impossibly difficult (or incredibly expensive) like they did with current 2.4 armors lol There already experimenting with a token system in the current 2.4 dungeons, so there's another way and i'm sure there will be more. Though i'm not against SE releasing the starting to other races having a timed exclusive thing isn't out of the question either

Tell that to the people who still Glam the starter gear and the undergarments that you buy from the NPC near the main aether crystal in the middle of town more then anything else.. There's always people who want to look different and true there is enough armor in the game for that reason but the end result is that you still look the same no matter how you mix and match it unless SE is willing to allow all armor in the game to be colored and thats not happening. But from a culture stand point there's a lot of people that would love to know what there races wore, thing things that they did etc.. Also this doesn't have to be a new thing all the time, more of a now and then down the line thing change up the monotony a little..

That's not true though. There's plenty of armor in the game to mix and match and the reality is that you rarely find 2 players looking the same on a party. So you're tired of something that rarely if ever happens.

What would you rather want, for all cats or all lalas to look the same? Is a good thing that gear is not race-specific. That means there is a bigger collection of equipment for a player to pick and choose. Means more unique looks by mix and matching various equipments.

If gear were to be race specific your cat would have a much more limited choice and we would have all cats looking the same.
