forum access

i am getting toon lvl restrictions on some forums. what lvl can i access more lodestone forums?

It's a weird system but, at least, it does not take long to reach level 50 and then you'll get the access the rest of us have

It was added because the Beta test forum degenerated into a mass of stupid 'me too' spam threads with the mass influx of testers in phase 3, so in order to try and bring order to the chaos they added posting restrictions to the Beta forum. Presumably wanting to avoid a repeat of this nonsense, they added these restrictions to the official forum as well when ARR launched and the Beta forum was closed. Some of the restrictions are a little tight, but they're not too difficult to live with.

My Ninja is level 40 and I still dont have forum access outside this subforum.

That would be because forum restrictions are based on what class is currently selected on the forum and it's level (the class and level shown under your avatar) and not what class you're currently set as in game. ROG being a new class hasn't yet been added to the forum as a class that can be selected, hence your GLA is only lvl 19, it's restricted your posting abilities.

Sadly this is catching a lot of players out, so hopefully SE will fix this problem soon. Otherwise, levelling your GLA or switching to another (non ROG) class that is higher level would be the only other way to get around this issue.
