Rogue Stat Help Pls

I am new to playing melee or DOW because I play mages full time. This is my first DOW class at level 30. I am not certain where to put my stat bonuses as I get them. I realize Dex is important but what about STR and Vit? I tend to put too much stat points to Vitality and I think maybe that might be the problem but I am uncertain.

Reason I am asking is because I am guessing that I am not doing enough damage because while I stay alive just fine, I cannot complete the lvl 30 Rogue quest "Cloying for Victory", since the enemies are not dropping fast enough for the timer.
My char is not getting K.O, it just ends with a "duty failed". I am doing it at level 30 even though the warning says it will sync above 34. I used food and meds for the blind plus a dex pot, not to mention the echo handicap. Feeling pretty fail right now but I am stubborn and would like to do it at the suggested level 30.

If you check my profile on lodestone, can u please tell me with the gear I have now and my current stats, should I just use a keeper's hym to redo my stats or just wait till level 34 to do it? Do I need better gear, different materia? I would rather do it at the level that is suggested on the quest.. lvl 30, if it is possible that is.

Just bothers me when I think I should be able to complete a quest but something I am doing, prevents it.

I always get confused about solo battle quests because they let you in but allow you to do it at another higher level too so I wonder if everyone is just waiting to max the allowed level or doing just fine at the lowest level entry is allowed at.

Appreciate any info you give.

oh btw: I also am using the shared skills from Pugilist and the combos that stack from Rogue.

Whack them all in to dexterity. That's the main station for Rogue/Ninja.
As for the lvl 30 class quest, if I'm right in thinking it's the one with the bombs? Once you get to the tower, ignore all the mobs and locate the detonators, you can take care of the adds after. That's your main objective. Use Hide to sneak past and sneak attack for a nice damage spike.

The main point of all the Rogue quests were to teach you to be sneaky sneaky, instead of charging in all guns blazing.

All DEX. Your gear is fine except the sunstone earring. Use a DEX earring. STR does almost nothing for ROG/NIN as it will only affect the % of damage that you can parry. DPS have no need to ever allocate VIT.

I didn't try to sneak or anything like the former quests because they kinda say "USE SNEAK" but in this one they didn't, so I figured it was straight kill kill kill and don't let the npc's die [me thinking like a mage again]. I didn't move to the next pack of enemies until we completely killed each pack that the npc's led me to. I didn't even notice that there was anything I could undetonate lol wow.

Yep I wasted a few stat points to STR and certainly wasted some on VIT.
As for Dex earrings, outside of dungeon gear, I have not encountered any but I will look.

Accuracy, Determination, Skill speed? are they useless or helpful for DPS?

For the quest in question, fight your way through until the npcs tell you to take care of the bombs- then you do just that. Locate the bomb triggers, dps them and their guards down.
Very easy quest when you know what to do

I will pay more attention to the npc's que's in dialog this time. I totally missed the bomb triggers and focused only on killing everything the npc's ran to as fast as possible. I just want to complete the quest at the suggested level for a change lol. I appreciate the help.
