You can do what I did. Since I didn't want to waste people's time in PF until I was comfortable with the fight, I used the DF to get as much practice as possible. In my case, since I don't have a dedicated static or FC, it took me 3 weeks of daily practice in DF, and finally got a clear during the fourth attempt or so in a PF.

This also teaches you communication, which is key in all Turns starting with 5 and up. As a tank, I used macros and markers in DF religiously to alert people of conflags, divebombs, twisters, dreadknights, etc. You'll be surprised at how much this can improve your PUG.

Just gotta persevere. If I (and many other people) cleared T5 through DF/PF alone, then so can you.
