    Coil 5 changes needed

    So, beating coil 5 in duty finder is nearly impossible. People will quit after 1 fail, people yell at new people for not watching reading etc... And even echo and new gear doesn't really help much. Basicllly unless you are going in with a premade group it is unwinnable. And of course since the game really does not encourage having premade groups until this point, it's really hard to find people in a reasonable amount of time now that it is "old" content. And of course you cannot progress to the content people do want to do without passing T5.

    Can we change the duty finder to allow 2 groups to go in? This would allow new people to learn, get flags and move on and join on the more current content. More people = less failure. Can even remove the echo with more people added.

    Eventually old raid content is going to have to be opened up somehow anyway. People are goomg to move on as better and better things come out. There is little reason to re-do it. And maybe by making it multi party they could then add a raid roulette to the dailies. Add coil 1-5 and crystal tower as 1st level and then slowly move older raids onto it moving forward as newer ones are released. Of course this means they would have to link the 5 coils into one string of levels like tower is, but that would be awesome too.

    Honestly...take the time and form a premade with your FC or start a Party Finder. They added mat drops to First Coil that are desirable for many crafters so it shouldn't be that hard to set up a clear group. They cannot nerf T5 any farther. I can only imagine how faceroll easy it's going to be at i120+. It's already a joke at i110. Two parties? Really? The arena isn't big enough for 16 people...imagine 16 people gathered for divebombs in the little cleft. Guaranteed half the team would get Divebombed into the walls. If you got past that it would be near impossible to escape Twisters with that many players moving about. Turn 5 is an important skill check. If you can't handle it then T6+ will wreck you. Why nerf T5 to Hell just so the same unskilled players can pass it and then cry that they need to nerf T6+? They did say they were looking at a Coil story mode in the future. That should help the people who think Maple Story and Flyff are hard MMOs...

    Make friends, start a PF, ask your FC/LS for help. DF a few remaining spots. Might have a better chance that way.

    I'm all for having T5 brought down so that people can progress further in coil, but I'm kinda worried for T6 to T9 and PUGs in general. Those fights kinda need some team communication and coordination, along with group and individual awareness (T7 comes to mind). I agree with what people have agreed on; There's no way to nerf T5 anymore than it is - unless they want to mess with the mechanics.

    This was an advice that I read somewhere here and helped me immensely:

    Start a PF, DF is a waste of time for most of the part. Each time aim to clear a phase or two. For example first aim to clear out conflags, then progress to divebombs, then snakes, then twisters. It might go faster or slower depending on your group but there are several people stuck on different phases of T5 and for some reason feel awkward about starting PFs. Just go on ahead and do it. I was stuck on this for months and when I decided to *really* put my heart into it I cleared it in 3 PF attempts.

    I've had DF groups get through to Twisters. Heck I had a DF group nearly 1-shot Ramuh EX. Anything can happen.
