Mod support and update question

Does anyone know if mod support is coming and is there a reason why you need a subscription to update the game just curious.
In my opinion they should at least allow people to update the game even if their not subbed.

mod support is most likely a no, and having an active sub is i would say required to have continuous access to updates. you are paying for updates
