Hey guys!
So, here's the thing... After some pages of discussion in this thread I had an idea to "be the change I wanna see in the world", and help not only myself, but all the people out there who might be struggling to do content and only find hostility and rage quitters on Party Finder.
So, I'm here announcing the coming to be of the linkshell "Brotherhood of Endgame".
basically, it's a place where people who have too busy schedules to be in a static, but who crave for the challenges and rewards of things like Coil and Extreme Primals can get together and schedule raids and incursions into the most challenging corners of this game we love so much.
So, if you are tired of being called bad names and get frustrated because the of rage quitters and elitist jerks of Party Finder... come join us! Let's make this a nice place to mingle and finally get that so-long-wanted clear! =D
And, if you are an experienced player, you can come too! your help and wisdom will be mostly appreciated. We just ask that you are nice and commited to the parties you join through us. Remember, you're dealing with people who wants that clear much more than you do =)
That being said, a few ground rules:
- If you are in a party, STICK WITH THEM. Don't abandon people unless it's in common accord with the group to be dismissed (Example, a vote abandon motion passed). That will make you part of the problem that made the this little group being needed, and we'll have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy with rage quitters. This is NOT the place to look for fast clears.
- NO CLEAR SELLS. We are here to clear content through our sweat and tears, and we're not your potential customers. Trying to advertise clears for gil in the linkshell will not be tolerated. Either you do it for free, or we're not interested.
- Be cordial and nice at all times, in the linkshell and the parties formed by it. Remember, you're dealing with real people who are striving to do content just as much as you (or as you did once, if you're experienced). Positive reinforcement, always.
- ACCEPT CRITICISM. If someone is not being rude or obnoxious, they are only trying to help you, and have good intentions. Being on the defensive will not only hinder your own betterment as a player, but create an unfriendly atmosphere on the group. That's not acceptable behaviour.
- Both veterans and learners are equally welcome in the linkshell. That being said, don't expect differential treatment for being in any of those groups. We may be teachers and students here, but we are a group of comrades above all. Be friendly.
So, I guess that qualifies as a draft... We are just being formed now, so don't expect a big peoplebase there in the first couple of days. But come, give out your names, call your friends and FC mates, let's make this the friendliest place for all of us static-less people in this realm of Eorzea! LET'S GO =D
Give me your character names in this thread and I will call you to the linkshell as soon as I get home tonight to actually make it![]()
