will the Xbox key pad work because it's hard to type when i am playing with the xbox controller, just want to know before buying it.

i dont think so, i read somewhere when buying a controller myself and 1 guy said it didnt. plus there is no way to enter chat box from controller that i know of.

I dont think it would be any good. I tried it on FFXI and it was slow and time consuming to type anything. This was due to the lack of keys and continuously needing to change the typecase.

should work i think you might need to get drivers for it. i used to use it in ffxi since i had the 360 version was a pain to have to hold certain buttons at first but you get used to it and it works great. i've been thinking of getting a diff controler so i can use it too

There may be separate drivers to get this to work. If you get it working in Windows then it should work for the game too. Game pad itself works though, gives me hope.

There was a contest a while ago to develop such drivers. They even allow you to press a button on the chat-pad to use it as a mouse. I have not, however tested these drivers. They are unsigned (which means you may have to start windows in a special mode to install / use them) but seem safe. I am not an expert however.

ive bin looking around for controllers and chat pad to there is a company that made drivers for the xbox chat pad and controller haven't tried it only works with corded so far and its beta so probably sloppy and bugs / i tried the ps3 controller and key pad did get the key pad working with blue tooth but ps3 controller was acting weird so my search went on this is what i bin looking for finally a controller with key pad made for windows and suppose to work on any game i ordered it its still on order but hasn't come yet iGUGU 8079015 Gamecore Wireless Gaming Pad
you can see a video on you tube on it looks sick to me finally someone came out with it can buy on amazone expensive throw 90 bucks if its all it seams im happy wanted to tell somone check it out it also has a whole interface this company is also releasing a controller for computer like a tv remote for videos they sed how we play pc games hasn't changed in 25 years omg about time finaly i can sit back and play my games from a couch and have my computer hooked up to a 32" tv by the way i dint want this so i could type really i like to cast with 1-0 so i find my self potting down the controller and hitting keys this salves that problem cant waite tell it gets hear
