SCH is a lot like RDM in that "other" game, can pretty much solo everything except dungeon bosses, and even then can kite for a bit before raising team.

We don't need as many fairys as Summoners have egi's. We get the job done with what we have.

I did suggest a tank fairy in the past on another thread, but have since changed my mind. I really do think what we have now for SCH is enough, from what little content I've completed, being a filthy casual. The only hole in the job I've noticed is a possible enhancement to mind traits, and maybe another group heal spell.

We need more fairies for fun and variety of gameplay, but tank fairy should be low on the list.

No one wants SCHs using a tank fairy in dungeons any more than they want to see SMN with Titan-Egi.

The premise made me say wtf out loud. I can bodytank just about everything I'll need to face alone no sweat.

What I need is a hard crowd control skill that I can use to interrupt enemy casts. No Selene doesn't count.

Eos is pretty much a tank fairy for low level roulettes. And I've found she does a better job tanking than some of the GLD and MRD I've seen.

SCH doesnt need an actual tank as a pet like SMN, but we know SE likes to maintain balance where there are similarities.

SMN has 3 summons so in time most likely SCH will get a 3rd plus Eos and selene are from greek mythology where they have a brother helios; the sun god. It would make sense for Helios to bring a refresh tp/mp element to SCH but that would be OP unless WHM gets a nice expansion. Or they could draw straight from mythology just mirror selene but in reverse seeing as she is the moon, and the helios the sun so he could indirectly infringe on enemy's dps or potency.
