Pretty much, am I surpised? That would be a big fat NO.
I expected little to nothing so I'm neither happy nor sad.
Well, fellow pirates...screw these changes! Join me against the basic attacks' nerf! If MRD can recover the usefulness of its basic attacks it will be back in shape in no time! *_*
I haven't noticed much change, but then again, in a game where numbers seem to be so random it's kinda hard to gauge. I have heard the lower level MRDs and LNCs noticing a decent boost, but not many higher level MRDs and LNCs. So, not sure whats up there lol.
but come on... really, another complaining thread? Its not really needed, just complain about it in one of the many complaint threads here already. All this negativity is a buzzkill!
That's the eorzean pirate life...drink, grab women and complain about battle system! lol
i have a theory, i believe we aren't really noticing a difference because of our stat allotment. if we have high str and dex than we are already doing a massive amount of dmg. soOo we wouldn't really notice the tweek to the moves. thus, lower level players notice the difference greatly because they may not have phy50.
now i have to admit i have notice a difference. before the update, in the rank45 dung i was hitting mobs with my skills averaging around 240, now i am hitting them for 300+ i know it may still seem like little dmg but i am playing my character with balanced stats so my str is at 90 (99 after armor) crazy i know -_- but i am able to tank the ogre AND Batraal with my mere 2200hp after a full party buff.
so i am just suggesting that maybe people aren't noticing the difference because they are already doing a lot of damage. (and there is such a thing as stat caps)
what do you guys think?
