Just play the game the way you would do so without a Novus. You'll get light, it might just take you a month to get Nexus. But you wouldn't have to go out of your way to get it.

My last 400 light was harder than the first 1600. The patch basically killed light farming and you're now stuck grinding ST until your brain melts. Good luck.
As someone who plays a variety of classes and takes whichever is needed for the occasion, Nexus was definitely the worst step in the relic quest for me. You either grind it out or force yourself to play 1 job for everything you do.

This is what makes me hate the nexus quest. I am at 50% and I got it the day the patch was released for it.
I hate playing one and only one class, and now since I feel a little bit forced to play my main because of nexus I ended up almost never playing on it.
They made the nexus feel like a second job to me since I was always so fast getting the other relic upgrades and I wanted to keep up with my pace.
I found out about this after I had played more than 250 frontlines games, had I known from the start I'd probably have nexus now![]()
