What are you testing against? if it's a lower level mob you could be experiencing a cap in the benefit.

Meaning it could still have the same upper limits but it might be easier to reach those upper limits on more difficult mobs.

That would be my guess also...
Ferocity and Raging Strike boost damage....
Assume it does this by raising your Attack stat
If your attack minus the MOBs defense gives a specific value in the damage formula, and that value is capped then at some point, Ferocity and raging strike become pointless....

160 attack vs 20 defense and
180 attack vs 20 defense could both cap out at 100...

went out and beat on mobs at and slightly above my rank, did not see much if any jump. then again i totally derped up and forgot to take a sample of damage on the same mobs pre-patch.

Though according to some of the lowbie mrd's in the shell the buff is some what evident on the lower ranks of the buffed skills.

You need to do like 200 tests and put them on a table. Otherwise you wouldn't see the 0.5% boost <.<

From mere observation having just aquire the skill I do more damage with ferocity on using storms path. Far from a scientific sample but I found myself doing 50ish~ more damage with ferocity on.

Some WS's also receive less benefit from Raging Strike and Ferocity... this was noticeable since last November.

Riot Blade would be a prime example and the first one I noticed that seemed to have a smaller amount of increased damage when buffed as compared to other WS's. Percent-wise anyways... but since it does so much damage the smaller % actually worked out to be more total damage increase. I didn't read too much into it but I'm sure there's some reason why some WS's just don't reflect the buffs as much as others.

Best to just play archer then you don't gotta worry about buffing WS's! Gogo buffed Multishots....!
