Mog House + Mail??

I scanned over about 8-9 pages of threads and did not see much other than one thread specifically about a mail system.

Yes, I also know that the mail issue is much desired, and the Mog House idea is not pressing, and would probably be on the bottom of the pile of 'things to do'

I think it's obvious we need a mail system. Arguments against it would be interesting to read, but the simple thought of that is laughable.

I know that retainers are nice for inventory space and managing a bazaar. Obviously there is a lot of debate about an AH at the moment.

But does anyone care to see the Mog House return??

There could easily be a debate between having public mailboxes vs. mog house for convenience of mail pickup, but I'm not looking for that.

Growing seeds was nice, displaying medals was also fun. Furniture, and items that increased storage space were great. Maybe some of it was just personal (e-peen), but overall it was a neat idea. Not to mention that would add a nice bit of recipe's for all the crafters, and incentive for loggers/lumberjacks.

Thoughts?

i would love a moghouse or even just a house in the game where you could furnish it out like in ff11

I'm sure we'll get some sort of player housing in the future. The future will show what we'll be able to do with it.
As far as I remember it was mentioned in an interview that it will be connected to companies in some way.

We don't know how companies work yet, but it would be nice to have some kind of great hall where members of a company can meet. From there you should be able to access your housing and facilities like a kitchen or a forge for example. Such facilities could be built by players or rewarded for quests and should provide guild support up to guild level.
There could also be a greenhouse for growing seeds or a stable for chocobos.
Oh, and a company bank for special items like pop items for NMs or materials to build company owned stuff.

There is alot of potential to make the system stand out from the masses and give this game a special touch.


A mail system is something that's really missing.
I'm actually surprised that there are not more requests for it.
It would be great if you could not only send items to other characters but to retainers as well.

Totally need some kind of mail system. Its a pain(not to mention anima drain) to track down LS members to trade them stuff.

As far as mog house goes, we do not need a "mog house" a form of housing for our individual characters or for a linkshell would be nice. As far as mailing system goes, that is a duh, we do need this. Now combining a housing system with mailing system would be interesting to see, but that is just a passing thought.

Aye, totally agree but when ppl reffer to "MH / Mooghouse" well they mean something like MH, cuz atm we players dont know what to call it yet, "Inn" or "Companyhouse".

So ya it's just a general term for the function that we want. (But ya, we want something Like a new version of MH)
not MH per say.

I would love a residence where I can put furniture and meaningless decorations. Gardening was cool also.

Delivery system would be a major improvement. I created a second character only to leave him sit until I can send him items I craft on my main. I play the game with my kids and would love to be able to send them items I craft also.
