    where you download the update

    the official donwload is bad, download rate 0 for 30 minutes adn 800 pr upload???
    mmm why SE still uses same downloader with big problems???

    1) Start official patcher, let it download like 0.1%. Stop it.

    2) Go to:
    If you use XP: %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\metainfo
    If you use Vista or 7: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\metainfo

    3) Find the most recent dated torrent. Double Click the torrent that you want to download.

    4) When asked where to save:
    If you use XP: %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\patch
    If you use Vista or 7: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv\48eca647\patch

    5) Wait till it finishes

    6) Run FFXIV as normal. It will detect the patch and install it. You're good to go.

    Disclaimer: Those random numbers near the end of the directory, for me, are '48eca647'. These may or may not be different for you. I have no clue. Take a look, and if they are different, replace it.
