Way better boat ride now!

Took one, and didn't notice any difference.. still a weird boatride. And the boat is so empty..

I do appreciate the effort to make it better and this was probably just a small tweak that took little time...

... but I have to say that I literally can't tell the difference. Well it's probably a very low priority item since the boat ride doesn't serve any gameplay purpose at the moment anyway. Just don't stop working on it SE.

Even if it's just a low-poly landscape I like the way you can see land from the boat in XI.

Also where are all the NPCs? The LL intro boat-ride is amazing.

In my opinion they should of made the wake around the bow stand out a bit more but I'm perfectly happy with the changes

I know it could be a very minor thing but i would like to enter in the boat interior too.. like in FF11. When you take a ferry in FF14 it teleports you directly in the upper-deck and you can't actually enter it by the lower-deck. I find it.. bad :/

I don't know if it was just my graphics setup, but they fixed the giant glitchy triangle of water on the right side of the boat. That really bugged me, so I'm content.

Not to mention, as others have said, the boat actually looks like it's moving forward now XD

They could also add group of seagulls (randomly) following the boat during some sunny days.

To be fair—it's a ferry, and ferries are just generally slow. I really love the decorations and being able to shoot-off fireworks in the event. I hope they have more plans in the future to bring players to the ferry with these additions.

You can go below deck, but there's nothing down there. Look around a bit more, there's steps to get down there.

The night time lightning storm is pretty sweet. ^^
