What sort of an attitude is this? If 1 kid in a class is behaving badly the entire class should be punished? I seriously question what sort of person you are....You don't get penalty for the before the queue pop. If the queue popped then party leader has no business changing the composition. Click commence and go. The train is leaving the station. Aborting at that point deservedly earns those complicit in this bad behavior a strike and/or penalty on the 3rd strike. Tell your party leader to behave better or don't party with them. This is working great as it should.
Actually that is how many Asian schools operate and strangely enough they don't have the behavior problems you get in the U.S. like those schools in south central in the LAUSD.
BTW even in the U.S. football coaches have been known to do this to great effect. It gets the group together to straighten out the people that are causing problems. And an extreme example of such the what the Roman legions did when they lost their battles, they had to execute one of every 10 in the squad which leads to the root meaning of the word decimate.
I very much like and agree with SE on this. Best QOL fix in 2.4 by far:
Since there appears to be a bit of confusion, I’d like to explain a little bit about how the Duty Finder penalty system works.
After the participants have been matched together, penalties will be counted in the event you press the “Withdraw” button or fail to press any button at all in the allotted time frame. As long as all of the party members have not been matched together, leaving the queue will not count towards the penalty.
Also, in the event that you queue up to the Duty Finder as a party, if one party member withdraws when matched, it will count as a penalty towards all of the party members. This excludes times when you queue as a complete pre-made party. Withdrawing in these instances will not count towards the penalty.
*When it comes to Crystal Tower, immunity for the withdrawal penalty only takes place when you queue as a full, pre-made 24-person alliance.

This is a game you pay for, you don't collectively punish your paying customers for the actions of others without good reason. This is not good reason.Actually that is how many Asian schools operate and strangely enough they don't have the behavior problems you get in the U.S. like those schools in south central in the LAUSD.

If you are queuing alone, you earn the penalty by yourself. If you and your misbehaving brat boys want to misbehave in your partially formed party, you all get to earn the penalty together, just like the cops will haul all of you off to jail for getting into a drunken brawl at a bar. You don't get to turn a blind eye or deaf ear to your friends bad behavior, nor do they to you. You are to hold each other accountable and behave properly and not look to abuse other players using the DF.
And is it really that hard to not withdraw 3 times? And the penalty is too light at 30 minutes after screwing around 3 times. It was working good the first couple days, no withdraws whatsoever, but by yesterday you were getting multiple withdraws when the queue pops.

What is wrong with you? You have this incredibly disturbing want to see other ppl be punished. You need to seek help. The professional kindIf you are queuing alone, you earn the penalty by yourself. Look I get it. You're wholly selfish and can't stand that the rest of the game's population isn't catering to ensuring that you aren't hindered a minute. It's not even enough that this is in. Other threads you're advocating increasing the punishment, because you still get people withdrawing from the queue. So you wish to double down on these draconian measures because obviously it's not enough. If you are queuing alone, you earn the penalty by yourself. Seriously, I hope you're never in a group and get stuck with this penalty due to someone else's actions. And if you do, given your winning personality, I hope you can respond with restraint so you don't get banned.

I am selfish because I support SE decision to require everyone to not abuse the DF? The sun must also rises from the west.
I always make sure I am ready when I queue on DF so that I do not keep others waiting out of common courtesy and having that level of respect being reinforced by the new DF penalty rules is selfish?
And you did this 3 times and didn't learn from the first 2 times? Don't join random PFs of irresponsible PF leaders. You should blacklist them and direct your ire at them. He had NO business valuing some random tell over the rest of the group. Hold him accountable. Report him to GM if he doesn't apologize to you for trolling you.

Clearly you have difficulty reading. We didn't withdraw 3 times, we joined the group. Qued. Party leader invited someone who had sent him a tell, but that person accepted the invite late and withdrew us from the que LOCKING us out! NO ONE was to blame for this except the system SE created.I am selfish because I support SE decision to require everyone to not abuse the DF? The sun must also rises from the west.

30 minutes of my time is gone! 30 minutes that I had wanted to spend light farming because YES the bonus window is INDEED going away and limited gone through NO FAULT of my own!
How is this in any way fair?!
Add to the fact that this isn't even explained in depth IN GAME!
