Essentially, its easier for a WAR to ask for goad, than for me to babysit their TP usage.

Well we could definitely ask for it, but pretty much any time you see Overpower being cast over and over and over and over again it's a safe bet that they are in need of replenishment
I play Ninja and Warrior and it hasn't been a problem for me. Raid Awareness is a trait that many groups desire in players, is it not?
[SARCASM]Because, yes, that person is quite literally asking you to count the number of times OP was used. [/SARCASM]right because I'm counting how many attacks someone else is doing when I'm playing DPS and its definitely my job to monitor their TP...
It's not hard to tell when a Warrior is going to be spamming overpower, guys... I'm not saying that someone shouldn't ask for utility when they need it, but honestly the amount of backlash over being asked if you can take some initiative is a little disappointing.
^ Raid awareness is definitly a desireable trait... but are we talking raiding in a static or a DF group who doesn't know each other in a 4man dungeon that doesn't require raid awareness?
Someone else posted that in a stat or tight raid group they would berate the NIN for not goading at the appropriate time... while berate might be a strong word, they have a point there.
Asking for it while using the DF would be proper protocol IMO rather than raging at someone for not watching what you are doing.
Tanking War by spamming OP till run out of TP, and in need of Goad constantly, in a normal Dun run is just bad...A good tank knows how to manage their TP (without asking for Goad, or TP song) betweens the pulls while still keeping aggro on all mobs. A warrior that only rely on OP to keep aggro, I dare say, he is B-A-D and in need of a lesson 1 on 1 tanking lesson...
DPS job is to make sure things killed fast, not to monitor the Tank TP or anyone TP, not in the past, nor in the present and will never in the future. If the tank or anyone want a Goad or TP song, A-S-K for it, or make a macro if you need to. It is not even moderately hard....
Also for those who is saying Warrior will run out of TP after 2-3 Overpower spamming and in need of a Goad, I am sorry but your are entirely wrong. I can spam at max 6-7 Overpower till I run out of TP. Besides, after that 6-7 OP spamming, I dare challenge any DPS or healer could take aggro away from me till they die. Also, as Warrior, OP is not the only tools you have for keeping AoE aggro. Flash is also in your disposal as well. So if you can not spam OP due to running out of TP, use Flash. What else you are gonna use your Mana for besides Flash? And you can take a break while using Flash to generate TP and by the time your MP is used up, your TP should be enough to spam another 2 OP. Flash + OP are just two, we also have Steel Cyclone and the buff that give War 5 stacks of Wrath instantly. Why not use them as well?
I rarely asking for TP buff, when I am tanking regular Duns as a Warrior, only when things go wrong like DPS or Healers , pull accidentally another group which I had not accounted for when I used my TP. Or when I died, get resed and try to take aggro on all the mobs back. For the rest of the time, I never ask for TP song.
DPS, be it BRd or Ninja, be it TP song or Goad, they have much better thing to do than is there to be your TP battery generator. Learn to manage your TP or directly ask for it. You said they are lazy for not taking initiative to Goad you but I say, you are L-A-Z-Y for not making a macro and click it to ask for TP when you need it.

This argument is very circumstantial to massive AE pulls. If you are a WAR spamming the crap out of over-power on a 4 or 5 mob pull, you are doing it to DPS not to hold enmity.
The best way to solve this is for people to ask for it when they need it, as its not on a 30 sec CD or anything. A really good NIN will be able to do this instinctively, but there are a lot of variables. When I tank on WAR or PLD I manage my resources carefully to be efficient, trading Flashes/Riot Blades or Overpowers/Flashes. If a NIN Goaded me when I had 8 mobs and had my resources totally under control, and the MNK, DRG, or BRD runs out of steam because they can't AE anymore, its going to make the fight longer, make me take more dmg, etc.
Now if I am in a dungeon with a NIN and a BLM who is just raining flares and better geared then me, then yeah I want that TP to make my life easier. MNK and DRG AE certainly isn't "good," but if you have the right CDs up it can be very effective, but it is a HUGE TP drain. So if I'm on WAR and I can OP/Flash/OP/Flash/OP/Infur/SC and hold enmity just fine, Goad the MNK.
Easy macro for goad.
/micon "goad"
/ac "Goad" <tt>
Done.
Lol for me really. Its not the tp usage thats the issue. I don't mind stopping my rotation to ask either. But when I have to spam "<se.1> goad" there is something wrong.
^I will start to use this after I ask 3 times
If a person needs goad, they should just ask. Not expect the NIN to watch their TP like a hawk lol.
