It's not been lazy. It's honestly not that hard for a tank to ask for goad.

Well we could definitely ask for it, but pretty much any time you see Overpower being cast over and over and over and over again

If a WAR is repeatedly using OP and not utilizing Flash and SC then no.

I play Ninja and Warrior and it hasn't been a problem for me. Raid Awareness is a trait that many groups desire in players, is it not?

I have mained BRD since 1.21. There is a huge difference between Job Mismanagement and Situational Circumstances. If any job is mismanaging their resources they are the one being detrimental to the party. For a BRD that would mean dropping a beneficial song like Foe and also reducing overall DPS of 2+ members.

If the situation arises where a larger pull the tank can handle or DPS cannot keep up carrying the fight. I would still expect them to call it out if for some odd reason I haven't given it to them already.

Better to ask when its needed then not at all and complain on a forum. Every player's skill and awareness is different and NIN is a week old. Which why I used "We" and not "I" in what you quoted.

Think when you want to cross the street in real life. Do the drivers see you standing there, looks like you want to cross the street? Yes. Do they stop for you without any signalling? No most likely unless they are being nice and safe to do so. That is why the Traffic lights is there, to signal the drivers to stop for the pedestrian or car doing their runs.

Same idea, you can't expect people to watch for your TP ALL the time. We have DPSers, not TP MONITOR ANALYSING SYSTEM, BACK UP AND RESTORE-ers...

You don't have to be observant though it's certainly helpful if you're doing anything harder than a FATE. It's rote memorization. Pull X amount of mobs, X amount of TP-users. Do I use Goad? Answer should be pretty obvious.

Next time I group with a tank I'm just going to stand there and count their Overpowers and other skill uses. When they ask, I'll tell them I'm keeping an eye on their tp so I know when to goad.

Not when one never play or lV up a Warrior knows how consuming OP will take or how many times the War can use OP until he ran dry. Much like a tank won't know that aggro that being generated on a mobs from a melee will be higher than from a caster unless he plays such class. It certainly is helpful and makes everyone happy, I don't dismiss that. However, you CAN NOT blame people or CALL people lazy for not using Goad or TP song when you need it without asking. And like I said, only a BAD tank would sorely rely on OP to keeping aggro until he ran dry and in dire need of Goad or TP song. So unless, you really want to keep making him bad till worse by providing him free food and make him think he is doing it right, you have to correct them.

Id rather give it to the brd or drg so they can keep up AOE spam imo.

Why? Overpower is stronger than their AoE.

Umm.. Knowing or not knowing Warrior isn't an excuse as ALL AoEs take up roughly the same amount of TP. Regardless of Job.

Here is my challenge for you, go out and ask a player who NEVER EVER playing a WARRIOR as one of their class, ask them how many times of OP you think a War can use before their TP run out.. Then come back and tell me the answer.
