    non-story/class guildhests

I am dps and not a healer or a tank. healers/tanks are unique, special people. admit-tingly, i am not one of them. yes. i know i have a long queue wait time. yes, i am in a fc - friendly, helpful, but stressed. i am preparing to pug. i don't mind grouping and queuing for required story and class quests, dungeons, pvp, leves, guildhests and etc.

    however, if i do non-story and/or non-class and/or non-lvl 50 regular guildhests, they will burn my playtime.

besides dropping gil, exp, regular gear, is there anything special i get by doing non-story and/or non-class and/or non-lvl 50 regular guildhests?

Nope. Guildhests are pretty much entirely for XP. There's the bonus you get the first time you do each one on each class, the daily roulette bonus, and the weekly challenge log bonuses. Those are the only things that make them even remotely worthwhile when you don't need them for quests.

Guildhests are also a way to help guide new players into party play by teaching common gameplay techniques like pulling an enemy without alerting others nearby and learning to take down healers first. Yes it's elementary stuff but sometimes basic is best.

But yes, as Bixby said you have the initial bonuses for the first time you complete it but after that there's no real benefit to doing them other than for the Challenge Log. However, much later on in the storyline you are actually required to undertake a number of guildhests to progress in the main story, so it also helps to at least have them unlocked so you can quickly get them out the way for the main scenario. But it's up to you.

Specifically, you only need to go up to the level 30 guildhests for the main story. The specific one you can stop at is called "More than a Feeler" if you are using the English client.

Each one unlocks in order by doing the previous one once (on any class), so no skipping.
