If Defferred Rendering is utilised efficiently, then State changes will be minimised, draw calls processed more efficiently and the frame rate should definitely be steadier.
Thank you very much for the explanation, now that makes sense. <3

The places i got 35FPS were on S Hunts which were much more active than they are now because some people left and some are still leveling Ninja and still have Final Coils to clear, it might be something to do with how Maxwell GPUs handle something in the game, on the 970 it goes as low as 25 on same settings, basically i play on the same settings and i get worse performance, maybe smoother 60FPS on some places but that's it, on heavy areas it's worse.

If the 4930k or the new 5k series weren't so expensive in Europe i'd might get one even if it doesn't fix the problem, but i could get a second 970 at some point aswell.

My own performance can go up or down 10fps during hunts depending on how many of certain roles turn up.

If you have scholars about using sacred soil or bards using flaming arrow, this definitely affects my framerate.

Most recently, my framerate dipped into the teens and i actually had to drop the max object count to minimum to keep it playable, there was that many black mages hitting it with flare it only took half a minute to kill.

Ah, someone just posted this, and it does seem to have a minor impact for my system

I forgot to mention it could have been something in the patch 2.4 aswell, since it was when i installed the new GPU, and sold the 570, meaning i can't test the 570 anymore.

In GW2 i remember after some patches the performance degrading even tho i never went to complain about it, but on reddit, and GW2 forums it was a complain party about how the performance got worse, still that game has always been an example of bad optimization since the start.

I'll check that tweak, thank you once again. =)
