how are the dps queues

Hey just got back in ff14 and I want to try my hand at black mage, will the queues be worse because of ninja being added

DPS queues are nasty at the moment, but you should be in a better position than melee DPS as BLM, since the DF tries to put a melee and a ranged DPS on the team.

wow I never realized that the melee and magic dps roles had separate queues guess that's what happen when you go the whole game healing

Yeah, it's been nice. I did the six dungeons for my last two animus books and never waited more than 10 minutes for one as a BLM. Makes me think I should dedicate some time to leveling up BRD while it's still quick.

Guildhests and dungeon parties were pretty quick for me lately as a BLM, I thought all the ninjas would make it worse but nope, its been pretty good.

Queues in general are settling down a teensy bit, too. The rush is gradually losing steam as people reach NIN 50 and/or give up on it before then.

Is it melee DPS and magic DPS, or is it melee DPS and ranged DPS? Because my BRD gets in within 30 minutes or so, but my MNK takes an hour and a half every time since ROG came out.

wow so the general consensus is too play blm but avoid melee unless its a tank
