Firstly, I agree about the arbitrary statements point. That goes both ways, as I posted in response to another person. Saying it's the game vs. it's the ISP is not correct in any way, shape or form.

Secondly, I'm not an internet expert, but I know the basics of how to discover where an issue is occurring. In 90% of the cases I've read on this forum, it's the fault of CDN's such as Level3. It's really not that difficult to figure out. tracert, ping to SE's ISP, and bam, you have some answers. Do this several times at different times of day and provide your results to those at fault. The Verizon issue in particular, affects more than a few people. That's a big company.

Thirdly, adding datacenters is already happening, and it is insanely expensive. The game being a year old and having the revenue to do such a thing is astounding.
