Question For Dev team: Can you please low the soldiery cost for Animus books?

tl;dr: In 2.4, people have to buy their tomestone gear with tomestones. In 2.3, people could use Allied seals instead.

Honestly, that problem was with hunts being overpowered.

Getting to level cap now isn't any different to getting level cap before; your myths was used for gearing and relic progression... even I'm having trouble trying to see where you're getting at. You can still use allied seals for weathered gear (granted, they're pretty expensive too all things considered, the same prices as soldierly while not being as available)

I can agree that the progression of relic is pretty botched, and would be only more so as we progress into CT3, but I don't think thats your context in the post I'm replying to.

Not sure if you are joking but if not, you don't get to use this excuse.

If you only have an hour or so to play a day doing high level and main story roulette is incredibly time efficient for stones. Not only that I don't know how you will magically get the time to do the book itself if you cannot play enough to do roulettes. If you do the rest of your roulettes you can get a book every 2 days which is comparable to the myth requirement previously. You just can't rely on hunts now is all.

The only phase of the upgrades that has slowed down significantly is the Alexandrite step.

100 myth bonus became 100 soldiery bonus. All soldiery items are less expensive than their myth counterparts were.

Let me answer the question. its because the atma grind was way harder then. Now SE has finally heard your crying and eased up atma and now you complain about the next step.....

What will come next? 75 alexandrites are to hard to get?? they were easier to get in 2.3 so pls nerf?? farming light is now more difficult pls nerf??

Also I guess what they also forget is during philo phase out myth was not upped until the next patch. Which will most likley happen next patch as was pretty much already stated by the devs.

Let me put it to you like this. The day of the patch I had about 7 soldiery tomestones left after buying gear for my Sch. I maxed out on Poetic tomestones in about 2 or 3 days, and today I finally made 500 soldiery to buy a Animus book. That's a little ridiculous don't you think?

what is ridiculous, is that you made 500 soldiery only after you capped your poetics? your math must be off. but im sure youre just not saying that saying you spent soldiery on other things than your books, because everything that grants poetics gives at least double soldiery. EX: in the time to get 450 poetics you should get an absolute Minimum of 900 soldiery. that is only possible if you killed yourself doing 90 ak/wp runs for some reason.

heres the thing, if you are the epitome of casual, and if you only do your daily roulettes, your daily minimum gains should be: 310 soldiery and 110 poetics. that is achieved with NO 1st timer bonuses in any roulette than can have it AND if you get the lowest to no granting events in the roulette for all of them. so hard would be ak/wp and trial would be cww. thats not bad at all imo. so if you only do those, in just 4 days you will have 2 books and 10 soldiery off from half way to 3rd book as well as 10 off poetic cap. so if you only do those for 7 days, thats 4 books and capped poetics on the 5th day. and this is going by bare minimum numbers if rng is never in your favor.

if I had found a group that could get pass T5. The groups that I was in either wiped at twister then couldn't get pass DiveBomb after that or just couldn't get pass divebomb all together.

im on coeurl, guess you missed the day before patch free t5 carries that were going on. apparently a lot of players got their t5 clears then. and there are players who join t5 parties to just help clear cause they are bored now. t5 is a joke now, should find an fc or ls to help you or create a static or something. or find a farm party, stay quiet, get to d/twister, then die and get carried. if you know the fight, get into a farm an just clear it.

Story Roulette with a first time player in the party = 200 soldiery tomes
Combine it with other duty roulettes and you could buy a book every 2 days

Plus, now that i110 weapons are becoming the current weapon base, it's even less interesting to do the Animus.

Nobody do the Animus for the Animus (except for glamour, i think). People do the Animus for Nexus and what would come after Nexus.

The challenge for animus class should come moreso from doing the dungeons, FATEs, monsters, and all that jazz than from Soldiery, considering how hard it is to get soldiery now. Takes even longer to get 500 soldiery than 1500 myth, which says something. Wouldn't be so bad if there weren't a billion faster ways to get level 110 weapons. Could just get one of those, but it's nice to keep up with the relic progression... in a reasonable manner.

Even after that, there's still the arduous task of Alexandrite, which is still going to be equally as difficult, if not more difficult now that Hunts are far more ignored than they had been due to A ranks not dropping Poetics. I figure halving the cost of books from 500 to 250 would be reasonable.

Because 2.4 is still fairly new? What the hell kind of question is this?

You can only complete so many books inbetween doing your other daily in game activities, and waiting for each fate for each book to spawn, and you be there for it. Not to mention waiting in a dungeon queue. And now that 2.4 IS here, that queue is only longer for dps.
