Question For Dev team: Can you please low the soldiery cost for Animus books?

It is easier to get 500 soldiery after 2.4 than it was with 1500 myth after 2.2

The amount of soldiery reward will get an increase with 2.5, like it was with myth during 2.3

No one here is comparing it to 2.2, and no one cares about a 2.2 comparison that's already considerably out of date.. It's being compared with 2.3 since that's the rate we had up until a week ago and the current rate is indeed worse than 2.3 was. From a week ago pre patch to today post patch it got tougher to farm these. Even if only a little bit. That's the only detail that's relevant.

Patch with odd number (2.1, 2.3, and highly 2.5) = high tome reward

Lowering the tome prices for the books further would mean to give them away for free in 2.5

Far from irrelevant, Tiggy, history shows that they make currency easier to get over the time, it's pointless to lower the cost of books when we will earn more soldiery in future patches.

Pattern or not doesn't automatically make it a smart balance. Posting that history changes nothing when the argument is that the balance is bad to begin with. The history also fails to address the OPs concerns and uses that history as some sort of blind justification.

Square has changed the way they've done things several times over the course of the patches because the existing method didn't work very well or the balance was found to be lacking. This is quite possibly one of those times. That's the point that's trying to be made here.

Let me put it to you like this. The day of the patch I had about 7 soldiery tomestones left after buying gear for my Sch. I maxed out on Poetic tomestones in about 2 or 3 days, and today I finally made 500 soldiery to buy a Animus book. That's a little ridiculous don't you think?

Sounds like how Animus was before hunts. 1500myth took me about 3-4 days doing ALL the roulettes everyday. We got the atma nerf, no need to nerf animus too

(Although i admit it was stupid to give hunts such a high myth reward and now at the next patch it got harder than previous patch to get enough. They shouldnt have given hunts mythrewards and it would still be fair)

Huh? How can it be more or less valuable than stuff that no longer exists or applies. That logic is broken. This is the new pricing scheme and it seems to be just fine. There are grindy stuff to satisfy the players that like to grind. For other there is the UAT and iLevel 115 from T9 now without weekly lockout.

The poetic tokens I would try to get, but the last time I did that with soldiery and well collecting all of those tokens for just 2 i100 weapons is still hurting me I still have i90 accessories in for 4 of my slot's for both my SMN and my SCH. As for T9 this thread wouldn't even existed, if I had found a group that could get pass T5. The groups that I was in either wiped at twister then couldn't get pass DiveBomb after that or just couldn't get pass divebomb all together.
